Mike Contant and the team at Contant Law did a wonderful job representing me fighting a civil traffic ticket. This was my first encounter of any kind with the Courts. I was scared and stressed at the thought of having to go to court to fight this ticket. Mike explained the process to me in a clear understandable way. His confidence and manner immediately put me at ease. Communication with Contant Law was outstanding. They were always available to answer any questions I had. If Mike was in court or out of the office, Ally and Solonge were available to answer my questions or schedule a time to speak with Mike if they did not have the answer. Ultimately, we were successful at the court hearing and I was exonerated for all of the traffic offenses. In short, I was wholeheartedly recommend Contant Law!

I was granted an emergency hearing on the second day, but I found myself in a time crunch when it came to securing legal representation. It was late at night when I finally managed to find a lawyer. Alexandra Campbell, whom I refer to as Ally, promptly scheduled a phone call with me and maintained communication through both phone and email. Early the next morning, Ally skillfully resolved my hearing, and I am pleased with the outcome.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Solonge throughout the time period of about a month after I had received a “Careless Driving” ticket in the state of New Jersey. This ticket is considered to be a minor civic infraction in the state of New Jersey and is often given in lieu of speeding tickets as it is considered to be more favorable. The state trooper who had given me this ticket told me that due to my clean driving record he was writing me this ticket for slightly exceeding the speed limit and it will carry no insurance points. Therefore, I paid the ticket online without giving it much thought. The officer did not know that ticket can carry significant negative implications in the state of Massachusetts including license suspension due to lack of interpretation between interstate laws. The Massachusetts RMV treats “Careless Driving” similar to “Reckless Driving” because there is no clear distinguishing factor between these offenses in the state of Massachusetts. I explained the entire situation to Solonge who patiently explained all viable options to me. After scheduling a hearing with the MA RMV, they told me that they do not have the authority to drop the consequences related to the ticket even though they wanted to help me. I decided to go to court in New Jersey and contest the ticket. Luckily, the ticket was dropped and it was removed from my record. Even though I did not need to use Contant Law’s services for this matter due to the favorable outcome, I certainly respect the professionalism and respect I was treated with and recommend this law firm to anyone who needs their services.

Mike and Ally are fantastic. Last January, my wife secured a 209a. When I was referred to Mike, I asked if it was worth appealing. He said, "don't want to take your money, lets chat in November to discuss the extension hearing." I reached out to Mike in November and we began to work together. First, Mike knows the law!
