From the very first call with Lisa to setup the initial meeting with Barbara I knew I had made the right choice in choosing her and her team to help me with my divorce process. I wanted someone knowledgeable and understanding, someone that I could trust. Barbara and her assistant far surpassed that. Every question or concern I had was answered quickly and in terms that I could understand. I felt at ease during what should have been one of the most stressful times of my life and that is all thanks to Barbara and Lisa. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose them in a heartbeat!

Honestly I would hope that I would never need this type of service again but this was horrible! My ex husband and I get along well and had no issues at all during the entire proceedings. Attorney Liftman left us with unanswered questions and multiple unanswered emails. In fact she missed a meeting that we had both taken off from work for. When court time arrived she forgot we had a QDRO for a 401 k and did not file. We had to wait 2 more months for this to go through which held up both of our living arrangements. She also did not ask the court for certified copies for each of us on that court case and when questioned we were left with another unanswered email. This is not an easy time for anyone to go through and you hope choosing mediation would make things a little easier but do not go with Attorney Barbara Liftman if this is your hope! Literally worst experience I have ever been through.

Barbara Liftman and her assistant Lisa were outstanding in representing my side of a divorce case. In looking for an attorney, I sought someone who was experienced, highly competent, and yet also someone who I found trustworthy and who cared about the details of my case. This is not as easy a combination to find in one divorce lawyer! Her office was highly responsive to inquiries and was great at providing feedback. Barbaras fees were reasonable and more than commensurate with the work done! I totally recommend Barbara and her team without reservation to anyone who needs a divorce lawyer!
