Marisa is a caring and hard working family law attorney. Although she is not my regular attorney for my divorce, Marisa admirably stepped in and hit the ground running to work out a temporary agreement with my wife's combative and less than truthful attorney. Pretty sure this lawyer's nose grows every time she speaks. Marisa worked through the weekend (what professional does that?!) to finalize an agreement. She reminded me of those sports agents you read about who make eleventh hour deals to land their clients nice contracts. Marisa once worked for Fletcher Tilton in Worcester, one of Worcester's top law firms, so that speaks volumes about her professionalism. Highly recommend her.

Went in for a hour consult to get legal advice from attorney Marissa Higgins. As soon as I walked into the conference room her whole vibe was off like I did something. Or maybe like she knew me? Divorce and family matters are emotional and require a particular bedside mannor. She is lacking in that department. Immediately I felt the annoyance of my presence as soon as started to talking. Correcting me over every detail of who the judge is and who the judge isn’t. She took my paperwork to look up my previous info and then came back explaining the new judge responsible for my file, and then it went way left. Everything I told her I needed help with was met with an annoyed disgusted face and that wouldn’t hold up in court. I left 24 minutes into the consult as she told me this wasn’t going to work out and left the room. I left in tears yelling she shouldn’t be a lawyer. Originally I was referred to the group for Attorney Nicholas Plante. He was highly recommended by another attorney who fell ill and couldn’t help me anymore. Attorney Plante was booked until January, so I rolled the dice with Marissa and got burned! Don’t waste your time or your mental health with this one!! Merry Christmas Marissa!!
