Caveat Emptor.

I have been a client since 2011 and am very satisfied. In a very difficult and emotional situation, she is a straight shooter who will give you realistic expectations in a very caring way. What she knew was possible, she fought hard for.

I had a consultation regarding Estate Planning with Polly. She was more than informative and knowledgeable on the subject matter. She showed more than professionalism, but she also provided me with advice outside of estate planning. She is one person I hope to be able to do business with. I have met quite a few intelligent business people, but she takes the cake. She shows interest in her clients or potential clients and not just for the end goal. I look forward in doing business when I am financially able to.

I’m astonished at the positive reviews I’ve seen regarding Polly Tatum as our experience could not have been worse. Polly demanded huge fees upfront on two legal matters. One she handled incompetently, like filing the wrong forms forcing us to redo everything. She flat out said it would be a “slam dunk” and a “rubber stamp”. We’re still unresolved almost a year later. The other matter she neglected entirely. Not one draft written, nothing done whatsoever for nearly a year, despite repeated calls to move this along. She refuses to refund the exorbitant fees for that matter and now we don’t even trust her to do the work correctly, if she ever does it, which seems increasingly unlikely. We’re RUNNING not walking away from this horrible, greedy, and incompetent attorney! Update: Rather than contact me personally, Polly resorted to a Google review reply. This is exactly the type of unprofessionalism we’ve learned to expect, however frustrating it is from a “professional” lawyer. She’s far more concerned with her public image than genuinely working on this situation with clients who paid her upfront. She has lied to us so many times that we’ve had to insist that all communications be email, so they can be documented. This resulted in basically never hearing from her again. She talks a GREAT game, like a used car salesman, but there isn’t truth or integrity in a word of it. I’m beyond disappointed by the horrible stress her unprofessionalism has added to what should have been a JOYFUL legal matter.

When my ex-wife and I first entered Polly Tatum's clean, professional office building we were struggling with the emotional turmoil that accompanies separation and divorce. Confusion. Anxiety. Fear. Bewilderment. It was a horrible state to be in. Polly was immediately able to bring the two of us some relief. With her calm, professional and friendly demeanor, and obvious legal expertise, Polly was able to set our minds at ease and move the process forward at a pace that respected our different stages of readiness. When my divorce took a particularly complicated and painful turn Polly handled the extremely sensitive situation with uncommon grace and levelheadedness. I could not have been more pleased with the manner she conducted herself throughout the proceedings. I give her my highest recommendation.

As soon as I met Polly, I was impressed by her professionalism and knowledge. As we went through the hard process of mediation, Polly was there to help both parties see what was best. I was very impressed at how she walked us through the process with patience and kept us on track to the end. Thanks Polly for your incredible assistance through one of the hardest times in our lives.
