Attorney Franklin fought hard for me in my divorce. I was paying child support and my ex wife was also seeking alimony. Michael was honest and straightforward with me throughout the process. He was well prepared for all Court hearings and his Paralegal was always available when Attorney Franklin was not! They made this process so much easier and I did not have to pay alimony! Michael Franklin charged me a ton of money for my divorce and did nothing for me. I had to switch attorneys. He even interrogated me in front of my Ex and his attorney. I hardly talked to him on the phone. Only his Secretary and was charged full price of 350.00 a hour. The Secretary would talk about her kids and private life as I was being charged by the minute. He has now stated I still owe him money and is trying to attach my divorce assets to be paid. He is lazy and will do nothing as a Attorney to help you. Except collect your money.

Attorney Franklin: you didn’t earn my fees: you robbed me with the help of your assistance. Of course, it’s my view. Your fees structure is atypical: Billing? Not twice a month, not even once a month, I was billed whenever you feel like it, at the rate of paralegal =lawyer $350/hr. (I received 2 invoices for the duration of your service: 7 month 10 days.)

Michael was very professional and efficient. His office vigorously pursued all pre-trial background info with little prompting from me. At the trial, he laid out my options, helped me decide, and quickly reached a good settlement. I would hire him again.

Michael helped me conclude my alimony payments under Massachusetts alimony reform law. This new law isn't yet well understood by the legal system and Michael explained my options to getting alimony concluded. We successfully negotiated an end to alimony without having to go to a costly trial. Michael has a professional and pleasant demeanor but can also show a valuable tough side when needed during negotiations. Throughout the process, he and his paralegal Deb kept me informed of all information and steps. He was open to my suggestions as well as providing his own expertise. I was always able to easily reach Michael by either phone or email. I will turn to him in the future if I need any legal representation in the family court system.

May 25, 2012 Attorney Michael Franklin represented me when I sought custody of my teenage daughter.  Her mother had physical custody of her for fourteen years and was her primary caretaker.
