I was expecting estate planning to be a tedious process but couldn't have been more wrong. From start to finish everything was efficiently handled and complete after only three short meetings. Nonetheless, the resulting set of documents were both personalized to my needs and thorough, covering a wide range of roles (medical, financial etc) and scenarios. Throughout all of this, Ashley and her team were always sensitive and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. I only have positive things to say and highly recommend Treetown Law.

Ashley and her team helped my husband and I through the process to establishing our will. This is my 2nd time going through this and the experiences were night and day. The first time I did this with an attorney within Washtenaw county, I felt rushed through the process but was I younger and not wiser, and trusted they knew best. When I sat down with Ashley and reviewed our original will with her, she was able to help us understand what we stated then, and how it differs from what we actually wanted and was documented. From there, she helped us figure out what we really wanted by illustrating potential real-world scenarios give certain laws in place as well as her personal experience and knowledge of the law. She and her team were able to put together a more comprehensive document than I ever could have imagined was possible. They even helped us re-write the language to ensure our loved ones knew the reasons why certain decisions were made. She also helped us set up absolutely everything that would help make our passing as painless as possible for our loved ones from the financial perspective. This included reaching out and engaging the other professionals in our lives whose services we use. She took the ball and ran with it, while communicating with us throughout the entire process. I truly feel really prepared if anything happens that impacts my ability to give full-time care as a caregiver or if I find myself in a situation where full-time care is the only way I can live. Additionally, Ashley is extremely articulate and well-spoke around the topics that none of like to think about, but need to for the sale of completing the will.
