I had a family law case where the father was attempting to change custody from joint legal to full custody. Do to Brenda's great legal advise and work she did on the case I believe both parties got what we both wanted and kept the custody as it was. :)

After spending many months trying to find an attorney to help me with a rather complicated jurisdictional issue concerning my daughters home state, Brenda Murphy stepped in. Not only was Brenda beyond professional and easy to work with, she was able to get the matter resolved quickly. If it weren't for Brenda, my daughter probably wouldn't have been returned to me and I am eternally grateful for everything she has done for my daughter and I. I highly recommend Brenda, she had the best interest of my daughter and family in mind and I really appreciate that kind of outlook in a lawyer.

I worked with Brenda on a divorce and through the entire process, I felt like I really had someone on my side. Brenda is the consummate professional but is still someone you can have a down to earth converastion with. She is incredibly detail oriented and will keep you informed. I don't feel like I could have been in better hands.

In a word, amazing! Brenda is personable, responsive, intuitive, knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend Brenda to anyone who needed representation in the family court system. Brenda has been with me every step of the way! I could not have done it without her and can’t say enough AMAZING things about her!

I hired Brenda to assist with my divorce (not represent, but prepare paperwork, give advice, etc) as my case was uncomplicated and amicable and I was on an extremely tight budget. She went above and beyond my expectations throughout the entire process. She answered my questions promptly (returning emails same/next day), gave me good, specific advice, and made sure I knew exactly what to do when I filed my papers/went to court/etc (as someone having no prior experience with court cases, lawyers, or divorce, this was invaluable to me!) As my court date approached and some problems with Friend of the Court surfaced, she sprang into action to help me revise my paperwork and file an additional motion, even driving down to meet me at the court to hand me the papers to file so I wouldn't have to make an extra trip to her office. I had held off on divorcing as I was intimidated by the legal process, and Brenda really helped put me at ease. Everything went extremely smoothly; in fact the court clerk complimented me on my court date, saying she had never seen a person representing themselves show up so organized and with all their papers in order perfectly. Of course, I have Brenda to thank for that!
