I have been using LaChelle for two years now for a custody battle! She is the absolute BEST attorney anyone could hire! She is about her business & definitely worth every penny! I have recommended her to several people and would recommend her to anyone.

I was referred to Ms. Bussell through a program for low income individuals, and in the beginning she seemed to care about the case. However, I should have noticed the red flags when she couldn’t remember certain vital details of the case. Many times, when I tried to let her know how I wanted to move forward with a decision, I was met with opposition and she always wanted me to take the easy way out and just agree. In addition, many times I was lost about the case and she didn’t do a thorough job explaining. I would not recommend her because I don’t think she is as knowledgeable or experienced as many other family lawyers; and she will talk about what she is going to ask from the judge and all this big talk, BUT whenever we appeared in front of the judge, she was often intimidated or quiet. I never met a lawyer who disregarded her client’s wishes. At times, it did not seem like she was prepared as she would call me the day of our court dates.
