Although I was not formally a client, I did have the opportunity to discuss the details of a pending Appellate Case. Others that I'd talked with seemed to add more questions to the equation--but not Mr. McCarthy. I found him to be very patient with my multitude of questions and generous with the amount of time he spent with me answering those questions all the while asking pertinent clarifying questions to be certain I had given him all the facts. He was very supportive and concerned that I understood the points he was attempting to convey. I certainly wish I'd have found him before I became the Appeallee in the MI Court of Appeals. I would recommend that if you're looking at becoming involved with the MI Courts at the Appellate level, you may want to strongly consider contacting Mr. McCarthy. Hindsight, more often than not, is 20/20. Thank You.

He was personable, sympathetic and I would recommend him in the future. However, to date Mr. McCarthy has not answered an "Avvo followed up email" that I sent subsequent to our telephone conversation, thus the average rating. :-)
