Mark handled my divorce 10 years ago. He has been my attorney ever since, handling the aftermath which hopefully has just ended. The fact I have retained his expertise through out says all you need to know of his ability.

Divorce is hard enough to go through, mine lasted 4 years and I couldn't have ask for a better legal team. Mark came highly recommend to me and I needed a Pit bull. Finding a lawyer was the beginning of a daunting, confusing, and complicated divorce process for me, and my first encounter with the legal system. So, here's my take on it: if you think you and your ex can come to somewhat reasonable agreements without going to trial (a very common view in Ann Arbor), and you want to avoid the Courtroom at all costs, and you want a lawyer to hold your hand through this ordeal- then perhaps you don't really need Mark. On the other hand, if you think you ex will only respond to the strike of the Judge's gavel then Mark is the best lawyer for you. Mark thinks like a Judge, talks like a Judge, can read the mind of the Judge of your case, will accurately predict and tell you what the Judge will think and rule before you go to Court, and knows the law better than most Judges (in my limited opinion). Mark will sift through your case to tell you what's irrelevant in the Legal sense (most of what you may think is important), and will make a BIG deal of the things that will make an impression on the Judge. Mark shines at trial and can run the show in the Courtroom. He will infuse confidence, direction and efficiency into the morass of your divorce. Mark has more billable hours than he knows what to do with, so he will never needlessly litigate or charge you for things that were not necessary- just to get more money. He's super ethical and honest with clients, and concerned with getting efficient fair outcomes. Marcus (who I primarily worked with, under Mark's direction) is incredibly approachable, personable, professional, easy to talk to, genuine and knowledgeable. Mark and Marcus make a great team. This review could be life changing for you as was meeting Mark Snover and Jared Jackson for me. Prior to finding them, I had two divorce attorneys who only cared about the bottom line, took advantage of me, and were ineffective. Getting the courage to make a change was one of the hardest and best decisions I have made in my lifetime. From the first meeting all the way through the long and scary marathon of divorce, Mark and Jared treated me with respect and were miles above my previous counsel in terms of knowledge about the law and my rights. They are EXPERTS. They did not talk down to me, but instead explained things I did not understand. They turned over every stone to get me a fair settlement.
