I had an odd case where I had already been divorced, but then my ex-wife gave birth to a child only a few months later. By Michigan law that was considered my child and I was to be responsible for it. Despite it being odd, they took the reigns without question. The entire process wasn't just "completed". They streamlined it, stayed in constant communication with me, even on weekends and late hours, and in the end wrapped my case up so air-tight solid that the entire court hearing was less than six minutes.
