Neil is the MAN!! We were facing probably the toughest judge in southeast Michigan, it was very scary but Neil always reassured me and calmed me down which means a lot. You definitely want Neil in your corner. It was my second offense so he understood the seriousness especially with regards to graduate school. He will do anything within his power to help. Given the circumstances of the case, he got great results! He will fight for your justice and keep you out of trouble! And not just that but he is truly a great person in general. Neil spoke beautifully on my behalf and was not intimidated, given the judge is easily the worst to have. Neil does not just let you go and forget about you after your case. He is very caring and sincere. He has helped me on numerous occasions even after my case was settled, given advice, and always takes time to talk to you on the phone! I was very anxious about many issues during probation especially with regards to school and he was always there to help and answer questions!! I can't thank him enough for what he did. if you don't go with Neil Rockind then you might be wasting your time, I would recommend him without hesitation. If your in trouble, you better go with Neil!

I don’t know how or where to start with my review, so I’ll just start here: Neil sets the standard high for other lawyers to look up to. Differing from most of his colleagues, Neil has tremendous compassion and used a very unique all-encompassing approach in an effort to help me during not only my case, but realizing that I could have been caught in the crosshairs of a variety of other serious issues (see last paragraph below) that transcended the confines of my specific legal case. He understood and appreciated that a conviction, even without jail, was not a win...not for me. I needed an an acquittal or dismissal. Differing again from most other criminal lawyers, Neil really knows his audience. Our initial strategy was to go straight to trial because Neil felt he could get an acquittal or "not guilty." I knew he could as well. I've seen him do it before on at least three other occasions. But when Neil filed some evidentiary motions to pin down the issues, he started chipping away at the prosecution's case- so much so, that the judge found the arrest to be unlawful, which in turn lead the prosecutor (an ethical prosecutor) to dismiss the case. It is also worth mentioning that Neil takes cases personally. I mean that both figuratively and literally. I hired Neil and he literally showed up to every substantive hearing. Above and beyond that, he took the case personally in the figurative sense in that he believed that the arrest was unlawful from our initial meeting on a Saturday evening at his office, and ultimately got the judge and the prosecution to agree. Results like this are rare...but not for Neil. NOT FOR NEIL. Thanks to Neil and his amazing team of Colin, Noel, and Breanna, I can continue to travel to Canada, keep my CPL, keep my umbrella insurance policy, not have issues with driving a company car, don't have to go before a professional licensing disciplinary board, or have any other freedoms taken away, including being jailed. #HireTheBest

Choosing the right attorney can be an intimidating process. I needed to file motions in family court. Even though Neil is a Criminal attorney he took my case and I couldn't be more grateful. Neil Rockind and his firm are outstanding. He is a lawyer FOR THE PEOPLE. Neil is extremely intelligent and shows sincere interest in his clients. He will lend support and guidance to his clients. Whenever you need legal help, you need to go to the best. Neil Rockind and his team will not disappoint you. I can vouch that they are one of the best in town. They promise less and deliver more. This obviously comes from years of combined experience of the Rockind Law team We were introduced to Neil Rockind by a mutual friend after I was arrested and we needed expert legal help. When I first met with Neil, he took the painstaking steps of understanding what had happened and why I was arrested. He asked me numerous questions to better understand the context and the background for my actions. We hired Neil right away and that was the best decision we made. After arraignment, he scheduled a meeting with us and explained to us in detail the charge and the consequences of the charge, my rights as a defendant, the next steps in the process, the timeline to a resolution and the possible range of outcomes. It was clear that Neil had dealt with similar issues many times before. Neil's understanding of the subject matter was superb. He was extremely thorough in his due diligence and knew exactly what to do. Neil’s excellent negotiation skills were evident when he was dealing with the prosecutors. The numerous back-and-forth with the prosecutors clearly showed his willingness to take an aggressive stance and fight for his client. As I look back at what happened from start to finish, I have no doubt in my mind that Neil’s legal expertise enables him to look at things in a way that others normally don't. Consequently, it yields the best possible outcome. In our case, despite a very serious charge, there was no conviction, only probation. We cannot thank Neil enough. Neil is ably supported by Colin, Noel and Breanna. We are very appreciative of their help throughout the process.

Mr..Rockind was able to pull off an almost impossible verdict in my case. The outcome was pure relief. He not only fights for his clients, he also fights for criminal justice like no other attorney ever has. Hire him from the beginning not when other lawyers have made a mess of your case.

I am incredibly impressed with Neil as an attorney and even more so as a person. Not only was he more prepared than the persecutor but his arguments on our behalf seemed as if he was arguing for a family member. His passion for defending his clients and always looking out for their well being goes above and beyond what one would expect from a defense attorney. While I hope I never will need his services again. I would recommend him to anyone that needs help with any kind of defense as he provides you with the best opportunity to reach a positive outcome

I recently just in the middle of a crazy case with Oakland county and as a business owner in a small community it was a up hill battle... I met with a few lawyers before meeting with neil rockind and thank god I did . Neil was solid from the beginning to the very end. His cross examination with the cop was like better then any I've ever seen on tv. He not only knows the law better then anyone he goes against he fights to make sure they see the law the way it's supposed to be. After months of back and fourth .... evidence was suppressed and case was dismissed... manufacturing distribution intent to sell he best months prior then finished up the cocaine possession and felony firearms a few months later . Don't shop around or look for the right guy ... just go to google type in neil rockind get his number and put your mind to rest knowing your life is in the hands of the best !

I was charged with felonious assault and assault and battery. I just finished college with honors, and what I thought was going to be the best summer of my life ended up being a complete and total nightmare! I have never been in trouble with the law prior to this incident. I initially hired another attorney from a different law firm that I discharged after meeting and talking to Neil in person. Looking back, that was the best decision that I could have made! I have always planned on going to graduate school, and if I were convicted of these charges, all of my hard work would have been for nothing. A lot of companies and schools will not accept you if you are a convicted felon. So, I felt like I had a lot to lose, and I didn’t want to take chances sticking with my first attorney. When I first met Neil, he was already strategizing, and tearing the police report apart. I also mentioned to Neil that I have a CPL, and I didn’t want to lose my gun rights. During the whole court process I expressed that I was not going to accept the prosecuting attorney’s plea deals (violent criminal charges) that would take them away, and Neil agreed that I should not accept them. Neil and his team (Colin, Noel, and Breanna) all worked hard on my case and they came through with amazing results. My case was dismissed. I will never be able to truly express my gratitude for everything that Rockind Law has done for me. I have my life back! I maintained my gun rights, and I plan on going to graduate school after taking a nice long vacation to recover from the stress of this whole ordeal. I will never forget Neil, Colin, Noel, and Breanna. Thank you so much for everything that you’ve done for me. If you’re still reading this...hire them already!!!
