November 27th 2023 is a pivotal moment within my life & I was blissfully unaware and unprepared for how much my life would change from that day forward. I was equally unprepared for the battles that inevitably began once we entered into the world known as “family court.” All I knew that day was a kid told me “I am not okay” and I walked in obedience with what I knew was right and where God has ultimately lead us so that he had a fighting chance at ending up okay. We walked into the courthouse that day believing in a system to be centered around peace & promoting common good but quickly learned that it was an illusion. Sadly, what we encountered is a system who takes advantage of the weak and made me a witness to just how much organized crime has infiltrated deep within the court system. i was lead to ultimately come face to face with pure evil. I thought we were entering into the court that day to help fight to protect two innocent children and did not realize it would be the first battle amongst many that are yet to come. We knew very little that day and in the grand scheme of things still know very little to this day. What I do know is that I was not aware of the danger we were in and how unsafe we were/could have been. I do know we had protection the entire time and you were a vital part to that protection. I dont know a whole or the depths of evil you saw behind the scenes or what all . It’s very difficult to where articulate it from this prospective but what I’m trying to say is that in a case that ended up being good vs evil- you were part of the good walking with us. I don’t have a whole lot of supporting evidence to back that up at this point but my own intuition. I know this review is premature in that regard but I wanted to express it prior to the conclusion of the case with the kids because I have come to really respect you. The way you believe in the justice system and respect the court/law is something I admire and I hope to have that restored in me again someday. Regardless on if that day comes or not, I am thankful for all that you did to help me along this journey when I was not your “client” on paper. Let’s be real, I was an opposing non party of this case, not able to have a say in things, and not protected by any rights while simultaneously having my rights threatened/violated. However, you still fought to defend me and my character when you did not have to. Your little nuggets of kindness towards me were extremely vital in reminding me of who I am. I have heard/read so many untrue statements about me the past almost 6 months. As much as I have not let it effect me since I know the truth of who I am… I have realized that some of it has stuck and my subconscious is/was believing some of the those things. You have no idea how impactful your kindness/defense of me was and when the question was asked “who here thinks Cassie is a problem” and everyone raised their hand except you… I mean that was hurtful to hear but the reality is you also could have raised your hand, but you didn’t. Those moments helped. Anyways, this is a long way of saying thank you (without saying everything I want to say) for all that you personally did for me during this case while representing Andrei. You have inspired me in many ways, both as a human and the real world of law and order. Thank you for being pure hearted and on the good side of the law and defending against so much that we are unaware of and can’t give you proper credit for.
