Don't walk, RUN!!! THIEVES!!

It was very hard not to take my bad experience with Mr. Kostin personally, but as I look at his reviews I think I understand it wasn't just me. Mr. Kostin was condescending and added pain to our already deep pain and suffering and he wasn't even our lawyer. We just had a consultation and he insulted me in a several unacceptable ways. He also seems to have made some calls before our meeting which seems to have biased his input in a very unhelpful way. I would not recommend.

Do not choose this lawyer. Bob talked a big game, but always had some sort of excuse for not making any moves. He often seemed lost and confused during negotiations. In the end this man cost me close to 50k in my divorce and quit as soon as he got a lien on my house. Please do yourself a favor and find a lawyer that will actually do what they say.

Paid thousands for simple divorce, wife crazy,, 8mos in he drops me because ex wife is harrassing him. Divorce still not final she refuses to sign. Frustrating.

Robert Kostin agreed to take on a very small case for my son. Roughly 1 month later we recieved a notice from the court for a failure to appear. We contacted Mr. Kostin about this and he apologized and said he totally forgot about it and unfortunately due to this happening there will be much more paper work involved so his cost will go up $2500. If you chose him good luck.

Robert Kostin was truly a godsend. He did things I didn’t think were possible. Best attorney in Michigan. If you need an attorney, he is the best!

Highly dishonest man! The Kostins Have a history of allegations of corruption and scandals. From Improper Relationships with law enforcement along with my former counsel; Robert Kostin directly Contributed to me Losing thousands of dollars when he had the opportunity to blow the whistle on my counsels legal misconduct But instead used his power and connections with law-enforcement to silence me! My attorney skipped my consultation. I only agreed to a bench trial with Mrs. Kostin because her husband Robert Kostin was an attorney. The Kostins Will use everyone as a tool at their disposal against you whom they have an inside relationship with. Instead of my attorney losing his license, Robert Prevented me from coming forward until the statue limitation’s passed because I received a threat from law-enforcement then my former counsel sued me recently and cost me 12k on a technicality He didn’t get money but my defense cost. My former counsel told me he was friends with the Kostins but it never benefited me only him…They got rid of the Fortenberry’s and pushed them out of town. (They were corrupt too but nothing like the level of the Kostins in my opinion) If you want help from him better have a Lot of money or belong to the same country club as the Kostins! If Robert couldn’t represent me should have gave me general legal advice and referred me to confident legal counsel…Sometimes I breakdown for hours and have difficulty functioning trying to put 2 feet forward. I hope I don’t come up missing or jailed again For this review because the Kostins have such a strong foothold in the community… Both of them remind me of the Clintons!
