This person walked right up to me in a fairly busy public place and started beating me up in front of my little child.
After police reports were filed and waiting the court date finally arrived and Colleen asked me why this person did this to me. Gee I dont know why dont you ask that person because I have no idea, then she asked what do you want out of this? Hmm i want this person found guilty. Theres a video and a witness to the whole incident. And I am pressing charges so what do you think I want. Then when I told her my child witnessed the whole thing and had nightmares after well she couldnt have cared less. She said to me well you have a ppo against the person so why press charges is basically what she said. Well hmm ppos only last a few months and this person told me to tell my child to go outside while they start fighting with me. My child saw this. Not to mention I had to go to the er and take care of 2 little babies and a child while feeling like a truck hit me for over a week but none of this seemed to make her care or think that I should even have pressed charges.
If I could give negative stars I would...

As a prosecutor that was supposed to protect me from the ppl that assaulted me, this attorney decided to charge ME with assault as well as the woman who assaulted me. Four days after my attacker got off probation she and her husband attempted to run down another set of neighbors. As far as a township prosecutor, I think she is incompetent and am considering filing a complaint with the attorney grievance commission. Even the Chesterfield Police Department told me she dropped the ball when handling my case. That speaks volumes. She did nothing to help me and only put me in more of harms ways with my attacker. She was rude on the phone and did nothing to inform me of what was happening. She and Judge Hackel in Chesterfield must have some sort of deal going as to who gets prosecuted and who doesn't. She's lazy and doesn't take the time to read the pertinent information in the file. Guess what, Colleen, not ever case is black and white. Take the time to do your job properly and maybe you wouldn't consistently see the same people showing up on court.
