Don’t bother. Called for a small legal matter, when asked when I could expect a call back… secretary said there was no guarantee I would get one. Guess they are too good to help me!

Janet is extremely unresponsive and hasn't even submitted proper paperwork to the state for the bankruptcy she is currently running. I wouldn't not recommend her or her practice if you are looking for someone that will help guide you through this process.

Janet Ziulkowski is the best bankruptcy and divorce attorney I have ever met. After attempting to file 3 times I finally pulled the trigger and did it. Past attorneys would not be as dedicated and willing to help as Janet has been. I have been able to contact her with any issue whether big or small that I encounter while going thru the divorce process. She’s great with my complicated case. My ex is very hard to deal with and so is his attorney and she has stuck by me through every irrational situation they have attempted. She’s always looking out for my best interest and willing to help no matter day or time. No complaints about her or her legal advice. She knows the ins and outs of bankruptcy and divorce cases. I highly recommend her for any legal matter you may have! I recommend her to my friends and family all the time.

In one word, shady. Beware of billing behavior and practices. I did not hear from her for months until I was surprised by a bill 5 months later. She refused to explain the delay, or the unusual charges on the bill. I did not find out until after I payed my bill that some how she put a lean on my house. .... now refuses to remove the lean... all during Covid shut down. 10k for 2 court dates seems excessive and is a lot of money to a single father. And my case isn’t even done.

I should have read the reviews and Fine print. What started off as amicable in my case quickly became a personal battle between lawyers dragging out the case. Unfortunately I was left paying the price. Literally! Then after 4 month with almost no contact I received a bill 4 times that of my retainer that was in place. I had to ask for an itemized list to find out why the bill was so, high. She refused to discuss the charges such as late fees, interest, and for documents I filed myself. Most of the bill contained time she was fighting with opposing counsel, and discussions as to why my case was dropped and my child support calculations being incorrect (missing my numbers). Still refusing to explain, Janet then reduced the bill a percentage, and I reluctantly payed with-in 3 business days. Only to find out she had already put a lean on my house in March (during Covid lockdown) and now refuses to remove the lean. I am just a single father trying to take care of my daughter. 10 k is a lot of money to me, and I still have to find another lawyer to finish my case, and fix her errors. I am now being threatened with late night text, personal emails, and legal action to remove my opinion. I don’t like to say negative things about people , however it is important to help other people to avoid making the same mistakes I did.

Working on my long post of how she has handled our case to save people their hard earned money. I see she has very few reviews and as an uneducated consumer when hiring her I went off the recommendation of my legal services that I now understand more on how process of she became a recommendation from my legal service. She has slander me to my fiancé when my fiancé has held her accountable for her law practices. Working on a fair an just review and will finish this post but moral of it. I would not recommend her services for FOC as we still have no result from the money we’ve invested in her “legal knowledge” other then a PPO we could’ve obtained ourselves but she made false promises on all the actions she would take. Once we retained her the story changed. Be careful.

Janet went above and beyond to help me. When my life was falling apart in front of my eyes she knew exactly how to pick it up and put it back together. Janet made me feel safe and calm. She represented me amazing and I could not ask for a better lawyer. Thank you for all you did for me and my kids.
