I couldn’t say enough positive things about everyone I encountered at McKeen & Associates. Questions and concerns I had were answered and explained. It was a long process but whenever I had concerns the team I was dealing with did an excellent job at letting me know what stages we were in..how long things would take and what to expect next. Highly recommend!

Jeffrey E. Kaufman was absolutely superb in handling my case. The first lawyer I hired was unprofessional, incompetent, he lacked communication and did NOTHING with my case for over five (5) years before he decided to be a Quitter!. Not only did Jeffrey Kaufman take over my case (which is VERY RARE to go behind someone else in the law firm business), but he got my case settled less than five (5) months from the time I hired him. Bankruptcy is a tough decision to make but I had no choice and was dreading the process. But Walter and Chad made it VERY easy and walked me through it. And Walter was very patient I don't know how many times a week I called because I was over thinking something and he always answered all my questions and didn't make me feel like a pest with all my calls to him. Was referred to this company by Fieger law which I may say had the best associates working for him, very kind and patient. However could not take the case so they referred me to this comany. The associate that contacted me regarding my mothers case first off called after the agreed time, then when I contacted her back she basically had the nastiest attitude because I didn’t answer her 30 min late call. During the conversation her tone was horrible, did not show any empathy, Basically asked questions with an attitude of a bill collector or criminal case mind when this is a wrongful death lawsuit. Advised her I did not want to speak with her and wanted to speak with someone else, she would not allow for me to do that. I ended up terminating the call with her and calling back to speak with someone regarding her. When I expressed this to one of the attorneys, they were no better than the person I spoke with, and said someone would be in contact with me. Don’t waster your time with this company. They are not professional, and no one wants to be treated with disrespect when you are dealing with a death case of a loved one. Would not recommend this company if it was the only one in Michigan. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME RUDE RUDE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL PERIOD!
