I found Chalgian & Tripp Law Offices during a time I was looking for a firm that specializes in elder law. I worked closely with Attorney Augustine who was very compassionate and helpful during a time of immense stress. Attorney Augustin went above and beyond to assist us with our case! The Chalgian & Tripp offices were nothing but timely, even during a pandemic, with someone always available to help and answer questions. I was extremely impressed with their efficiency and capacity to work so effectively through virtual communication & virtual hearings.

Atty Doug Chalgian knows and is compassionate on Elder Law. It’s very true death and money can bring out the worst in families! Doug and his staff represented our defense case for my mom’s trust vs. my siblings. I wouldn’t want to be across the table from Doug. If you require specific elder law guidance then I'd consider this office to be an acceptable option. We initially met with Doug Chalgain and were very happy with him. But once we were passed to other attorneys in the office I wasn't as impressed. If you require basic estate planning, look elsewhere in my opinion. I know attorneys are expensive but I didn't realize the premium that this office charged us over the years until I went elsewhere. Once we pay one of your attorneys to draft all of our trust and estate documents I struggle with having to pay an attorney to "review the file" each time I have a question. Especially when those questions were coming over a period of 2 months. Further, before signing anything they prepare for you check it carefully for accuracy as we discovered errors that led requiring corrections as the register of deeds office.

My attorney, Michelle Lane, was very helpful in explaining various steps along the way and responding to questions I had about options for proceeding. She considered my needs as well as the outcome desired. She was a true advocate for me and my son. Her staff members were responsive to all communications and very quick about doing so. They were patient with me when I didn't understand something (as was Atty. Lane). This was a remarkable experience - remarkably good. I appreciate all that they did in support of our needs. I would highly recommend this legal group.
