Colline was amazing through my custody case, she really knew what she was doing and did it well. The only thing I’m upset about was I put down my retainer and she told me I was going to be informed when We were going over that retainer because of me not being able to afford much over and I didn’t get a bill until after my conciliation meeting that she came to and was very helpful with and all of a sudden I owe the firm $3,000 extra. Which I’m assuming is on her assistant, but I was never informed when or by how much we were going over what I had already put down. I’m very upset by this and now I have to make payments for probably a lifetime to get it paid off. Once again I was very happy with my lawyer, just very upset about the situation I was put in.

I am very thankful for Mike and glad I hired him. He made my horrible situation manageable and worked hard to achieve the results I desired. Late on a Friday afternoon we had an issue with our son's school that was not being handled properly and we contacted the Nichols Law Firm. Even though Mr Nichols was out of town working on a large, important case, he stayed in contact with us over the weekend. We had a follow up meeting with the school on Monday morning and Mr Nichols made sure we had all the information we needed to go in informed and prepared. He contacted us several times over the weekend to answer our questions and give us pointers on what to expect. This was our first encounter with the school where we thought we needed to be protected. We did not know what to expect, until we talked to Mr Nichols and his law firm. Even though we were new clients and our issue wasn't as big of a deal as the case he was currently on, we felt like we were his only focus and felt well supported.

I contacted Mike a day or two after I was released from jail on an OWI charge. I was terrified of the consequences of what turned out to be the worst night of my life.
