I was lucky enough to have come upon chris Wasserman through a friend and she did a wonderful job. She was on it when fast and she is very knowledgeable, kind and efficient. I would recommend her highly and she also did it for me. She also did it for me pro bono but I also know her rates r very reasonable and I would have hired her even if it wasn’t pro bono. I will definitely purely keep her number in the event I need a lawyer again. She even let me bring my dog to the office which is an added plus! Not many lawyers will do that

A previous employer stated I was a no call no show. The reality is that I was laid off during covid. After several appeals on my own to no avail and a missed hearing, I was referred to Cristine. The state wanted several tens of thousand of dollars in back payment. It was a truly terrifying situation to be in, with Cristine's help the judge decided he would hear my case. Ultimately the ruling was in my favor and could not be happier with the outcome. Definitely would recommend her to anyone with any issues regarding unemployment. Very knowledgeable and helpful, I am very grateful for her service!

I started by posting on Avvo, regarding an unemployment insurance problem. Other than Cristine, almost all the other lawyers simply said hire a lawyer. That $0.02 was worthless to me. I was seeking actual actionable advice, other than the inane hire a lawyer. The few that gave advice showed that they had just about zero knowledge of how to deal with the issue I was facing. Cristine, on the other hand, was spot on. Her advice was exceptional. Not only did I get my determination reversed, but the state is pursing a civil rights action on my behalf against my former employer based on him violating my civil right. Without Cristine's advice, I would never have even thought to pursue that avenue. I really appreciate all her advice. Not only am I appreciative of her time, but also that her advice was so valuable. Cristine accepted this case when I was an emotional wreck. After it had been over a year. The company I worked for sent another letter of appeal stating I was not entitled to the unemployment. I did not know how to fight this and what information was needed to protest the request. I had received a letter to appear in front of the judge in just several days. She sent a letter to get a change of date for me and agreed to represent me. She has taken the information I had kept and we are still in the process of fighting the appeal. She has been diligent and thorough while calming me throughout this process. I do not know what I would have done with out her strength in this field and look forward to it being resolved soon.
