In early 2020, I was charged with an OWI, shortly followed by another OWI with a high blood alcohol content, which initiated a protracted legal battle. Recognizing the need for an exceptional legal team, I sought representation from Manley and Manley. This team diligently worked to secure the most favorable plea deal for me. Their efforts successfully prevented my incarceration and facilitated my admission to Genesee County sobriety court. Not only does sobriety court provide you with all the necessary tools and resources to get sober and stay sober, individuals have the opportunity to regain their driver’s license under specific restrictions and the installation of a breathalyzer interlock device, which we acquired approximately four months into the program. After about a year and 4 months of sobriety court, I officially graduated from the program feeling confident in my life with sobriety and my outlook on acquiring my full driving privileges back. This is where Manley and Manley stepped back in with their expertise! We needed to craft a case for OHAO to prove I am sober, I’m going to remain sober, and that my life has completely changed from who I once used to be! Their process to go against OHAO of Michigan is laid out to be highly successful! After waiting the necessary time and going through all the guidelines to submit for an OHAO hearing, Assistant Lindsay and Attorney Scott Bigger constructed my case perfectly to request the hearing for full driving privileges! 1 and done, we were completely successful with a massive WIN on our first attempt, and I am now back on the road with no restrictions and no interlock, living my best life sober!
