Felt forced to tap out,, so I settled,, thought it was at least over with,,, but it is not- asked Elliot where we stood on the retainer and he says he dont know,, but don’t worry,, I’ll give you a bill at the end,, transparency issues!! Deposition was cancelled, he failed to notify me,,so I can’t be prepared, and don’t know what’s coming,, I feel hustled by both attorneys colluding on the down low,stacked the deck against me, tricked me into settling for a low ball amount,, thought we were done at least,,,but they are keeping those billable hours going- the price ain’t worth the cost! Super shitty attorney- there is more to mention as well,,, but I hope you get the point- I do not recommend. Should have never hired him,, and several times should have sent him packin,,shot myself in the foot with him. Very poor communication and if he doesn’t like your questions he gets extremely mad and explodes on you- questions like- how’s my retainer holdin up- he don’t know,,,

THIS GUY SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISBARRED 39 YEARS AGO. ANY ATTORNEY WHO DIREGARDS HIS CLIENTS WISHES AND WELFARE SHOULD NOT BE LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW ANY WHERE.

No return phone calls. No notice of Friend of the court hearings. Didn't make sure that the ex-wife was responsible for paying for the property that was awarded to her so I got stuck with paying for something that I didn't possess. How much more needs to be said about the lack of professionalism? The worst part was the lying about my case from this guy. He told me that if I lost the divorce hearing that he would take on the appeal for a set fee. After I lost, the whole conversation seemed to be a mystery to him. I wanted to toss him in the street like he did to me. Surprisingly he still had the audacity to bill me several thousand more dollars after paying him in excess of $14,000 for a divorce and simple custody arraignment, the custody was never a point of contention. The ex and I live in the same town and never had a dispute over any of the child issues until he didn't inform me of the hearing and I got the screw job. The most help actually came from the Friend of the court ladies, once I went and explained that I was never notified of the hearing, they showed me proof of mailing to him but he never let me know of it. I could go on with so much but I think you get the point......RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN to any other attorney.

He and his office did a terrible job handling my divorce. A simple divorce cost me in excess of 11,000.00 + hundreds of dollars for documents he signed on my behalf that were made out wrong from the opposing attorney, which Blumberg did not read. This was like a nightmare. Every time I was about to fire him, it looked like we were close to end and I figured it would be easier to ride it out as opposed to hiring another attorney and trying to bring him up to speed BOY WAS I WRONG. I did most if not all of the research. All of my assets were in a family trust which I told him about in the first meeting, and his answer to me was that the divorce supersedes that trust and to forget about it. To make a long story short in the end both attorneys used the trust as a division. All I can say is that it costs me alot of money, time, aggravation ect. needlessly.

This lawyer spent no time on my case with no end result. After two years of my calls not being returned 90% of the time and nothing was being done to my case literally nothing I asked for a statement because I had never once recieved one. 3 weeks later I get a letter saying I had no funds available. I would conider Elliott as a crook.

This lawyer spent very little time looking at the facts of my case ,Made me feel like my case was a compleate loss before it ever got started and had any of the facts , Was extreamly rude I felt like i was defending myself most of the time , Almost as if the other party was paying for his services .

Absolutely would not recommend this lawyer. Not just because he lost my case, but because he made absolutely no contribution in my favor. He made absolutely no contact with me, even on days of my cases. I had to call him to cheeck up, and I think he only returned my messages one time. He agreed to terms contrary to my wishes on my behalf, and set time standards farmout of my capabilities (I told him I wanted a 4 month period for payments, yet the papers he generated and had signed gave me 2 weeks, without even asking me about that time frame.) He pandered to the demands of the other lawyers, ignoring any and all evidence I had in my favor. None of my evidence made it into court. I also did not recieve notification of my judgement until an entire YEAR after judgement, which led directly to further hearings. BY NO MEANS SHOULD YOU HIRETHIS LAWYER!
