Top-notch professionalism, seamless and timely correspondence, no BS approach to taking care of business!!

I hired Thacker Sleight after being unsatisfied with a former law firm. The unique ability that Thacker Sleight PC has to embrace each of their client's individually was very attractive to me. Connie and her team were very personable from the very beginning. Thacker Sleight made me feel like my case wasn't just another case. They understood that my case represented a substantial life change for me. After submitting an online request for contact, I was contacted the very next morning. Soon after that, a follow-up conference call was arranged and I was able to speak directly with Connie, a partner in the firm, who took time out of her day to take my call prior to establishing a retainer agreement. During this phone call Connie offered to meet face to face. It was at this point that I knew I wanted to hire Thacker Sleight. Even in a pandemic, Connie understood that building rapport and relationship with me was important, and went above and beyond to arrange a safe way for us to meet face to face. During the zoom call I became very emotional as most people do when they are faced with the many life changes that are associated with family law. Even as I tried to gather my emotions and move on to another topic, Connie stopped me and said, "no, let's talk about that, it is important to you" and Connie immediately began devising a plan to address my concern, even before I hired her or paid a retainer. With just a few short hours left before the long holiday weekend began, Connie and her team began devising a plan, and contacted the court. The issue at hand was in regards to a name change I was awaiting as my divorce was stuck in limbo. Connie understood the importance of this for me because I wanted to have my name changed before my upcoming dissertation defense and awarding of my doctoral degree. I wanted to honor my late father by earning my doctorates in his name. Immediately on Monday morning after a long holiday weekend, I received a call from one of Connie's team members requesting my signature on court documents to enter name change documents for consideration by the court. By 4:00, the judge signed the document officially changing my name and a week later I defended my dissertation successfully in my late father's name. Thacker Sleight has been nothing less than a blessing to me. Before hiring Thacker Sleight I waited in limbo for 9 months. In less than a week, Thacker Sleight was able to achieve this important task for me. All I can say is I wish I had hired Thacker Sleight first. Furthermore, I am confident that they will resolve other outstanding matters with the same professionalism and sense of urgency as they did with my name change. It is obvious to me that they care about me and all of their clients. Practicing law is more than just a job for Thacker Sleight PC! Thank you, Connie and Team! Tiffany Burks handled my case for the most part, but I was blessed with an entire team including Connie, paralegals, and other support. Throughout the process I felt valued and engaged in what was going on. Communication was much better than I've experienced with most attorneys. Tiffany was nothing short of an angel. As a Christian, my faith got me through the rough years of marriage, and a very difficult divorce process. Not only did Tiffany provide expert legal advice and strategy, on the morning of trial, Tiffany called me early in the morning to say she was moved to call and pray with/for me. She asked my permission and of course I welcomed the prayer! She prayed for me, not just any prayer, but specifically asking for mercy, grace, favor, and courage specific to me and my journey. There were so many miracles that followed. It was nothing short of a miracle and the work of God. What a blessing! Tiffany understood my story and helped me to share my story. Connie Thacker came highly recommended to us by a dear friend and lawyer. He told me that she was highly aggressive and professional. We have since used her service in two court appearances in my daughter's divorce residue from a previous court dates.
