Had many faults my first court Was supposed to have penalty and a lot more. I went to my first one And all charges drop all I got was a ticket EVERYONE PLEASE IF YOU NEED A LAWYER GO TO HIM HE IS THE ONE HE KNOWS WHAT HES DOING

Had some truancy issues and i went to James, eventually hiring him. Him and his staff were friendly and courteous while dealing with this whole ordeal. In the end, James' skill had everything wrapped up in an effiecient and timely manner. I would hire him again, should the need arise.

When I first met Jim I was facing a Domestic Assault charge out of Grandville Michigan. Quickly he went to work gathering information and staying in constant contact in order to dig at the case. His confidence picked me up when I felt very discouraged. I had a tremendous amount of pressure riding on the outcome of my case. While in jail he visited me and continued to hash away at my case. He gave me hope even when I had none. His confidence, dedication and hard work as a lawyer are all virtues that you would look for in representation. Above all else he was my friend when I had none. I give Jim a 10/10 and would recommend him AND his firm to anyone. Even his assistant Sydney is helpful and extremely friendly with every single encounter. If I ever run in to trouble again I know who to turn to. He saved my career in the military, my goals in law enforcement and my life. Thanks for everything Jim.

I hired James to help me with an issue regarding gross negligence on a roof install by 1800HANSONS. He was very informative and guided me through the whole process, including sending a very well-written, strong worded letter to the company. They ended up redoing the roof, and we did not have to go to court. I couldn't have done it without James.

My teenage son got into some trouble this past year. We felt the charges were unwarranted so decided that we weren't going to just let the system deal with him and decided to get legal advise. I knew Jim through a friend of mine. We contacted him and explained the situation. He gave initial advise when the incident happened. Once we received the paperwork with the official charges we hired him to be a go-between with the juvenile court system. Jim met with the contact person at the courts for an initial meeting and smoothed the way for our meeting with her. I think our meeting with the court contact would have went another total direction without Jim's initial meeting. His guidance through the workings of the court system was invaluble. We had a great outcome and I would highly recommend Jim Sterken for any of your legal needs.
