I felt a need to shop criminal lawyers outside of my general home in SW Michigan I went to a few sites read the reviews and "mission statements" and liked West Michigan defense team the best I felt they really aligned with my personel concerns and reputation. When I called I met Jeff (Kortez) he was tracking with my issue the entire time. So we set up a appointment to meet and ofcourse I hired him on the spot. I felt a decent out come was reached considering the complications of my issue and the many years it went unresovled and would bubble back up. In my experience this is probably one of the better law firms in the area. Mark as my attorney was courteous, prompt and extremely detailed while handling my traffic ticket. He explained things well and as a CDL holder he understood my situation and was able to get my ticket reduced. If I had to nitpick the cost seemed high BUT if I had to hire a lawyer again I would definitely go with Mark.

Denise Buswa is a very highly skilled family law attorney. She is also an excellent criminal defense attorney. I have referred several clients to Denise and I will continue to do so. She is a zealous advocate for her clients and I would highly recommend Denise to anyone seeking counsel.

Never returns calls. Cancels and reschedules meetings left & right. Doesn't visit client like supposed to.. I'd consider him a very UNREALIABLE attorney.
