I OWED BAKE COLLEGE A DEBT WHICH I TRIED TO RESOLVE WITH THEM ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY NOW HAS IT. I TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO RESOLVE THIS DEBT BUT NO LUCK. I ASKED FOR A SETTLEMENT OFFER AND IT TOOK THEM OVER 30 DAYS TO SEND THE PAPERWORK. I CALLED AGAIN AND SPOKE TO MULTIPLE UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE UNEDUCATED AGENTS THAT WERE NO HELP. SO I DECIDED THAT I WOULD JUST PAY WHAT I OWED TO BAKER COLLEGE MINUS ANY OF THE EXTRA FEES. THE GIRL I SPOKE TO SAID WE CAN TAKE THE PAYMENT BUT IT WILL NOT SETTLE THE DEBT..NEEDLESSS TO SAY I WAS SHOCKED AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO SUPERVIOR BUT THE AGENT TOLD ME NO I HAD TO MAKE THE REQUEST IN WRITING AND MAIL IT IN....?? WHAT REPUTABLE COMPANY IS REQUESTING ANYONE TO MAKE THIS REQUEST VIA MAIL DURING A PANDEMIC, WHAT HAPPENED TO EMAILS OR CALL BACKS?? SO I MAILED IN A HAND WRITTEN REQUEST AND PAID EXTRA FOR DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. THE LETTER WAS MAILED ON 3/27/2021 AND WAS DELIVERY TO VELO OFFICE ON 3/29/2021 @ 11:27 AM, CONFIRMATION # 9505510267871086589624 BUT WHEN I CALLED ON 4/1/2021 AND SPOKE TO AMBER SHE CLAIMED THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REQUEST AND MY REQUEST FOR A SUPERVISOR WAS DENIED AGAIN!!. THIS IS A CROOKED RINKY DINK OFFICE THAT NEEDS A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST THEM. THEIR COLLECTION PRACTICES ARE SHADY. THEY WILL STRETCH OUT THE SITUATION, LIE AND THEN DENY EVERYTHING SO THEY CAN GARNISH YOU. NEEDLESS TO SAY ALL WHILE I AM REACHING OUT TO THEM AND WRITING LETTERS I AM BEING GARNISHED.....SMH...

I have NOT been garnished by this company, so this review is NOT coming from a disgruntled person. This review is coming from a business owner who has had to deal with this company garnishing the wages of one of my employees. I have had to deal with garnishments of employees over the years and I have never had to deal with such a horrible law office. I get paperwork that I have to fill out frequently with verbiage that is not easy to understand. I have never had to spend so much of my precious time filling out paperwork for a garnishment. This garnishment has been more of a punishment to me than the employee it was meant to punish. I have to spend an extra 15-30 minutes every two weeks for this joke of a law firm to fill out paperwork. I personally feel they should have to compensate me for all the time I have to waste on this paperwork. If you are a business owner thinking of suing someone for unpaid services, as a courtesy to other business owners, please use ANY OTHER LAW FIRM to do so! I have never had any issue with other law firms dealing with this same issue! Go ANYWHERE but here!!!!!!!!!

I was sued by the hospital right away after going through many health issues. I never had a chance to even get anything figured out with the hospital before I got sued...(I had health insurance) I never had a chance to do anything. was doing a payment arrangement with a different company, because there was nothing I could do. Then ended up with these guys (which I had no idea) this company never let me know they were the new one to pay. Instead we are in the middle of a pandemic, right before Christmas and they decided to start garnishing my wages. I called to see what my garnishment would be and they couldnt offer any help. They should be able to give me that info. I work part time and they can take up to 25% of your wages for garnishment. Which I think is ridiculous especially right now.

Although their methods are morally wrong, it's however, completely legal. They send you the summons and then they withhold information about the case except the basic account info when you call because again, its completely legal to keep you in the dark. They tell you that they will work with you on payments while still withholding any info but find ways to default you with all your information, including banks, employment, and vital personal info. They defaulted me behind my back because I assumed negotiations were sufficient, but they were sneaky and filed the default judgement and won! They make sure they get you on all possible ways... even when you agreed on a payments. They will also remove you off autopay so that incase you forget, you are late on payments and pile on another $30 fee . The goal is get as much money as possible from you. all entirely legal!! My advise is to go through the courts to deal with them and file all the paperwork through the courts and don't give them any information unless through some legal counsel.

The staff are not competent the first guy kept putting me on hold. They don’t keep proper records of when you call. I asked for them to review my called and they wouldn’t I was told in order to speak to a supervisor I had to submit it in writing, they are rude and unprofessional. I called to settle a debt and the call center manager was VERY RUDE and unprofessional. I think her name was Danielle or Denise. She got on the phone and just started rambling and didn’t introduce herself I asked her what her name was and could I be transferred to someone and she hung up in my face.

Horrible to work with, scammers. Take more than is owed and says they refund, but it's been months and I'm still waiting for my $400...
