Sean was helpful and fair and really helped me understand things when I felt I was lost as a single Dad looking for help during my divorce. Can't recommend him enough.

Rob and his team came highly recommended to me. I’m sure you already know it, but everyone throws their attorneys name in your face. “Call so and so, they are the best”. I can confidently say this though. In the early stages of my divorce, I didn’t think I needed any legal help. If that is you, I would encourage you to call Rob today. One of my main regrets is not having him from day one. I had a long list of attorneys who were referred to me, Rob was number one on my list. I called him one day and said “if the office answers, and I can get in today - I’ll give him a shot”. Well they answered and got me in the same day. I walked in with my hopes and dreams, and Rob sifted through them and spoke with knowledge and facts. No extra bull crap and koolaid of what he can do. During my nine month divorce process, Rob was very clear about what was “worth the fight” and what things I needed to let go, to get to the healing stages of divorce. I never once thought I was just a paycheck for his office. My concerns were always addressed promptly and I feel they truly care about the people they are representing. I believe you need to find your people, and after this year I know that my legal people will always be Carpenter and Tobin. I will miss our chats!

Sean took my husbands case with 72 hours left before our first court date. He rallied that entire weekend and walked into court competent and prepared. He continued to work closely with my husband- read all of my husbands many emails containing texts and other evidence and handled both my husband’s and my concerns regarding the case with the utmost care and professionalism. He was strategic in questioning witnesses on the stand and ultimately won the case for my husband. We could not be more thankful that Sean took this case. Thank you Sean!

i hired sean for a custody case a few years back. i have had NOTHING but disappointment with him. he has dropped the ball. lied to me. and straight up doesnt actually do the work he is saying. he will say that he has been busy but he doesnt know i had a friend. that had him as a lawyer as well and he would repsond to her sometimes and not respond to me or vise versa. it has been weeks yet again since he has responded to me. DO NOT HIRE HIM. it has been disappointment after disappointment and really he hasnt helped me do much of anything. i am a single mom with three kiddos. getting screwed by a lawyer is the last thing yah want so dont choose him! he has hurt our family because his lack of doing his job.

This ‘law firm’ will gladly take all of your money knowing full well the outcome and leading you on the whole time and then they’ll pull out and go to another case bc they got new money. Do not trust them, they’ll take up all your time talking about the weather and charge you for it!! No sharks here, just vultures.

I hired Sean Tobin to represent me in a custody case. He repeatedly claimed to do work that he was not doing, claimed to file paperwork with the court that he did not file with multiple claims that the court was simply lying to me and charged me a ton of money for it. He dragged my custody case out when he knew my daughter was living in an abusive situation just to try to line his pockets. Then when I called him out on it, he denied it at first but then later came back with a settlement offer asking me to pay half of what he was trying to charge me. If a lawyer offer to cut a $12,000 bill in half doesn't admit his guilt I don't know what does!!! I fired him, reported him and now represent myself and have my daughter home with me every weekend. This guy is an absolute crook!!! If I could give zero stars I would.

My husband had two lawyers prior to Rob, not one of them actually cared about the child nor the circumstances of the child’s wellbeing. Rob did the unbelievable and read the evidence, was honest and upfront from the start. He’s also amazing in the court room. Our family has a great gratitude for this man. He will not only fight for you but he will fight for the child. He will not waste your time, money or energy Over lost causes. Truly he cares and puts his heart and soul into his clients. Again thank you again rob you saved my step sons life!

I was referred to Sean Tobin by a friend. I am so thankful she sent me to him! He has been such a blessing during a very stressful time and I couldn't have asked for a better attorney. He is a man of integrity, very easy to talk to, and non judgemental. I have learned that even when there's not much being communicated he's still working on my behalf. I can be impatient and demanding and he shows me grace and understanding in those moments. I completely trust him with my situation and would highly recommend him to anybody going through a divorce/custody battle. Office staff also very friendly. They make you feel like you're part of their family. So thankful for Sean and his entire team!

After being married for over 20 years, I knew I was headed for a rough ride when I filed for divorce. Attorney Sean Tobin has done an outstanding job representing me in my divorce. I could not have asked for a better attorney. He let me make payments that fit my budget and went above and beyond and continues to do so. I can not recommend his services enough! A+

I genuinely wanted to like Sean and believe in him. I stayed with him way longer than I should have. And that will cost me for a long time, as I have had to hire so many more lawyers to clean up the mess he created. I needed Sean to file a motion to change the venue of my case. Since my case is a contentious one, I explained to him about what needed to be done. Unfortunately, Sean was extremely lax, not attentive, and a really bad communicator. In court, he was quiet and unable/unwilling to represent me effectively and zealously. Despite imploring him to file counter-motions, he never did. He was really awful with communication and being proactive. He also did not keep track of motions and hearings adequately, having been caught off guard more than once. Thanks to Sean, I am now having to clean up his mess, hiring appellate lawyers. So if you have a contentious case and/or you are a WOC/single parent, I would not recommend Sean. On the other hand, if you have a non-contentious case, Sean might be a good idea.
