Our world was turned upside down due to a denied homeowners insurance claim. We had no idea where to go or what to do. After speaking with Mrs Annie Marie Earls one time, she was the first person to give us hope and direction. To make all this even harder it was at the peak of Covid-19’s shut down of the whole state. Mrs Earls was very attentive in understanding our situation and compassionate about our loss, not having a legal background ourselves. We had a major fire loss December 23, 2019. Our insurance was initially helpful in covering funds for immediate housing and a small amount of cash for personal needs. Things went down hill quickly and by mid January we knew we were in an adversarial situation. We began to look for an appropriate law firm experienced in situations like ours. Our first contact with Melamed, Levitt, Milanowski & Earls was a lengthy phone conversation with Annie Earls. She listened, asked pertinent questions, helped define the battle we were in, and provided assurance our fight was winnable. We interviewed two law firms and are very pleased we choose Ms. Earls. We were not able to start rebuilding until August 2020. We moved back in in February of this year. Our fight included Examinations Under Oath and multiple court filings. Annie helped lead us the whole way. The experience was long, frustrating, and difficult. The financial and other personal information the insurance company required seemed endless. We received our final payment from the insurance company the middle of November 2021. Annie was with us the whole way and was instrumental in our ability to reach an adequate settlement.
