Sumita Nagpal’s knowledge of the estate planning, probate and bankruptcy arena, and her connection with a network of attorneys makes her invaluable. I sought legal assistance when my brother passed in July 2018 when someone he knew took over his home and tried to take control of his estate. To summarize- the person trying to take his home was not a reputable person and because my sibling did not get along with his family, she thought he did not have anyone who would handle his estate. I met Sumita Nagpal, LLC on August 6, 2018 as I was seeking legal assistance to gain control over my brothers’ estate. She took on the case, but it was not a normal estate action. She had to work with estranged children, eviction laws, collect rent and utility fees, and deal with a (potentially fake) rental/purchase agreement, and upward of $12k in receipts for work supposedly she had done for my brother. Considering it took over two years following the legal system requirements, estranged children, and a pandemic to process all required actions, all things are done and settled as favorably as they could considering there was no will or trust in September 2020. Sumita is professional, personable, easy to talk with and works hard for her clients.
