I never thought i would need an attorney. I had no idea what to do. I write this review on behalf of Jessica LaFond, regardless of the outcome of my case. Jessica has the intelligence, professionalism and most importantly, the gently heart that a client such as myself needed in that dark court lobby each early morning I was present. The night before each court visit I would get at most two or three hours sleep. My legs would nearly fail me when I traversed the crosswalk on West Michigan Avenue toward that imposing court house. I had a lengthy jury trial that continued on to a second day for a misdemeanor. Very unusual I hear. All the characteristics of Jessica LaFond aforementioned, came together to capture and hold the jury's attention. I watched the jury closely. They were fixated on Jessica's every word. She even brought them to laughter, laughing with her, not at her. Her closing argument on the second day was masterful and profound. It was worth waiting one more day to hear it. I told her in the lobby, before the verdict was read, "No matter what the outcome is, you did a great job!" It was a highlight of the day for me to bring happiness to my lawyer who has been working hard for so many months to do the same for me. Thank your lawyer. It's not only about the money. I hired attorney Jessica LaFond when I found myself in a tough situation. She was very patient with me, the support staff is great and I had an amazing outcome to my case. Best possible scenario given my situation. Saved me a lot of problems I may have had and things that could have haunted me for years to come. They are a smaller firm, yes- but very knowledgeable and if your assigned attorney is unavailable for whatever reason another one steps in and helps you all the way.
