I was in a hurry to close a home and need to know information about FIRPTA as the seller is a foreigner. When I contacted Linnel Associates they connected me with James Randall who is kind enough to explain FIRPTA and clarified all my doubts. Even after the conversation when I had doubts I just sent email and he replied with clarification. He is very responsive and I am very pleased with his service.

I am in the beginning stages of selling my house and had a half dozen questions about the process and whether my situation required an attorney. Rick Linnell and team were prompt and efficient. Rick spent a fair amount of time answering my questions in layman's terms and basically set my mind at ease with his casual, but professional communication style. The conversation ended with both of us agreeing that I did not require the services of an attorney. The conversation left me feeling more confident that my situation was not out of the ordinary and that I could move forward with the sale. Just knowing that I have a team of experts ready to assist me, if necessary has me optimistic about my next stage of life without the burden of a one hundred year old home. James Randall is a patient, thoughtful, intelligent lawyer. He takes his time and patient, especially whenever I lose my patience 🙂 my husband and I are thankful to him and his service. Bunni in the estate planning department is AMAZING! I had an upcoming closing and last minute discovered we had to open an estate with probate! She accomplished establishing the estate w/the court as well as getting everything Title needed in less than 2 weeks!!! Talk about putting a fire out quickly!!! David Applebaum did an excellent job getting results on a quiet title lawsuit and negotiating with the Bank who owned the property, culminating in the discharge of my clients' mortgage! Linnell and Associates is the BEST Real Estate legal team in the industry for complicated title issues or circumstances preventing a property from being listed on the MLS.
