I recently came into a situation in which I needed to know my options with a property that I owned with my ex. Rick and his team made an appointment immediately. Rick and his team (especially Ashley) met with me, immediately he made me feel at ease with his down to earth personality, as I get nervous with attorneys and court matters. He took the time to thoroughly detail all the pros and cons of each of my 3 options. He gave a very honest opinion about all 3 options and what he felt would be most advantageous but fair to all parties. Because of his above and beyond service, I was able to buy my ex out at a fair price and saved me thousands of dollars. I highly recommend this office for any legal issues they can handle. They were prompt, fair, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use this office again. Great job Rick and Ashley!

I called a few times and I left several messages for an attorney to give me a call back and, 2 weeks later still no one has called me back. That’s so unprofessional.

We received a notice from Consumers Energy for an easement on our property. They wanted us to sign it immediately without regard to the trees, shed, and septic field that could be affected by the boring to install the line. We contacted Attorney Richard Linnell. He reviewed the documents from Consumers Energy and coached us on how to respond. He was very professional and helpful. Plus our bill was about 1/4 of what I expected. Highly recommend!

Very experienced legal services.

Seemed friendly and competent at first - until they already had their retainer. Then Rick went out of town for two weeks - which is fine in and of itself - but didn't provide me, now a paying client, any notice that was his plan. An associate attorney then took over my case and didn't give me the impression I was in competent hands. After having to explain myself all over again (this time while they're accruing costs) the response I got was almost embarrassing for a law firm claiming to specialize in real estate. In the end I feel I could have googled or used legal zoom to fit my needs and that my desire to make sure things were done properly has only cost me a lot of money. On two separate occasions I have complained and specifically requested Rick himself give me a call to discuss the problems I was having with his firm - to this day I haven't spoken with Rick since he had my money in a signed retainer.

I'm a real estate broker and Rick Linnell and Associates have assisted numerous clients of ours with short sales. All of my clients have been satisfied and were very happy with how their situations were handled.

Be cautious using their services!! When we approached them in 2010 to do the short sale on our WB home, they said there would be no fee. When asked several times about this, they stated "If we can't get the money from the short sale, we don't get paid". Once all was said and done, there was a $2300 fee for legal services.
