Eric Lore is a top-notch divorce attorney. A good friend recommended his partner, Natalie Alane. She had a full schedule so, rather than take on another client and stretch herself too thin, she referred me to Eric. Eric was professional, provided great advice, worked with me to develop the right strategies for my situation, and always respected my opinion. He is very responsive and even made himself available for phone calls and document reviews during evening and weekend hours, when needed. Eric is cool under pressure and has great knowledge of the Lansing area family courts and lawyers. Alane Family Law may charge a higher hourly rate than some other firms, but they use time wisely, and the representation you get is completely worth it. Considering the challenges in my case, the total cost was lower than I anticipated. I am grateful for having such an incredible lawyer guide me through this difficult process.

Eric Lore is absolutely wonderful to work with. He really cares about his clients as well as the job he does. Very organized and thorough! He was extremely honest and upfront with outcome probability and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Eric will steer you down the right road, not sugar coat, and get you the best possible outcome. He was my second attorney and I wanted to give up after my first experience. All I can say is that Eric Lore of Alane Family Law is the gentleman for the job! He was extremely responsive and empathetic and I never questioned that my daughter's case was in the right hands. We were able to successfully negotiate custody without litigation and his conduct was always professional and above the board. In fact, I've been so impressed by his family law skills that I've been spreading the good word far and wide. He genuinely cares about his clients, their families and a positive outcome for the children involved. I can't thank him enough for his care and expertise... he really goes above and beyond!! Greatest law team ever

I cannot more highly recommend Natalie and her practice. When I filed for divorce, I was terrified of what I always imagined to be a very painful, stressful and exceptionally complicated legal procedure. I entered her office with much trepidation as to the process as a whole, and was immediately met with kindness and understanding by Natalie. Her demeanor set me at ease within moments of walking in the door. What became very apparent after our first meeting was Natalie's ability to clearly and concise explain the interworkings of divorce law. Her intelligence and compassion made all the difference and very much eased my mind. Once the divorce process was underway, Natalie was always available to answer questions and field concerns. Her kindness is not simply professional; it's one of her personal qualities that so impacted what could otherwise be a very painful and traumatic experience. Working with Natalie made me feel calm, confident and informed about the divorce proceedings. Importantly, I also felt supported. Natalie's help has been invaluable to me during a difficult and confusing time. I honestly believe that I would not have been able to negotiate these rough water without her kindness, support and guidance.

Her expertise and ability to think of the fly is is also impressive. In trial, it was remarkable to see her at work--she's sharp, tenacious and insightful. While no attorney can guarantee a legal outcome (that's up to the judge,) I always felt confident in Alane's abilities. In the end, I was very satisfied with the fair outcome of the divorce and am delighted to know there's such an excellent legal resource of sharp, caring people here in Lansing.
