Pros
1
Provides opportunities for students who may not have been competitive in traditional law school settings
“They have programs to help students that apply with lower GPAs or test scores.”
2
Offers diverse student body and learning environment
“I love the diversity at Cooley. I love that Cooley provides opportunities that open doors for students that may not have been competitive in the traditional law school settings.”
3
Supportive and accessible professors
“I have found that most of my professors are dedicated to my success. There is a tutoring program on all of the core subjects, held in a group format, online, at a time that does not conflict with the traditional student schedules.”
Cons
1
Questionable accreditation and bar passage rates
“As o”
2
Lack of support and resources for students
“Lots of better law schools. Not enough support to the students. Claimed they were diverse, but did not see diversity. Tried twice to set-up an LGBT group, and they said they couldn't because of lack of interest in the past?”
3
Unethical practices and treatment of students
“They tried to paint a false narrative accusing me of being a potential school shooter despite having no basis for it. Essentially, they believed *verifiably* false remarks from some of their underachieving students that, I believe, targeted me because they did not want to compete with me in their classes.”
