My husband and I had the pleasure of doing business with Family Wills &Trusts. Dealing with someone as knowledgeable as Stuart Williams who cares about his clients and those left behind was a nice experience. Dealing with something as somber as death and dying and what will happen after you are gone is depressing to begin with. Our experience was nothing like that. Family Will & Trust, PLC services exceeded my expectation. My mom and I met with Stuart several months ago to put a Living Trust in place for my mom. I had the opportunity to sit in with my mom and see how compassionate, caring and well organized Stuart is when it came to helping my mom plan it well. Every detail was covered, from personal protection to her grand children. The documents are organized in a leather binder and digital USB. The best part is he also recorded my mom’s story of how we escaped from Vietnam in 1982 after the war. This story will help my children understand our heritage as they are the first generation born United States. I met with Stuart and was impressed with the various options he offered to his clients, his comprehensive overview of what needs to go into a trust, and his personality. I was looking for an attorney who knew how to develop trusts that would impact children with special needs. He was very organized, always had an agenda, and offered services I've not found with other attorneys in this area (he has a flat fee structure) - questions for you to think about when determining options for your special needs child(ren). He explains the importance of financial aspects, things to consider when naming successor trustees, special needs trusts, etc. He also did research on the ABLE account to explore what was best for my daughter. He was very open to suggestions that I made as well. In the end, you get not only the trust itself, which is beautifully organized, but an electronic copy. You also have the opportunity to leave an audio legacy for your child(ren) telling them important things that you want them to know and why you made the choices you did in planning your trust. He follows up promptly and I can't recommend him highly enough!! It was a fantastic experience!
