I am not sure I can put in words how much Natalie has done and is doing for my family, but I will try. I turned to Natalie for help with a long exhausting family court case riddled with trauma, abuse, and a whole lot of nastiness from my ex. Natalie took on our case without hesitation. She not only took on our case but she, and her incredible staff hit the ground running! They were able to provide swift resolution in the midst of a traumatic situation to keep my child safe, to which I will be forever grateful for. Natalie and her team have diligently fought over the last couple years whether it be writing motions, litigation, in mediation, or toe to toe in a courtroom, she has never wavered. Natalie’s professionalism is top-notch! She is witty, stealth, fierce, and firm in a courtroom! The care and attention she shows her clients is absolutely outstanding! Natalie is THE attorney to have in your corner, she will go to bat and not back down! I cannot possibly sing enough praises!

We hired Natalie to handle our extremely serious, highly detailed custody case. Not only did she make us feel like we were her only case but she treated us like family!! She feels so strongly about her cases that you are immediately put at ease knowing that this woman is going to put everything she's got into getting you what you want and need. It's hard to describe all of the ways that Natalie exceeded my every expectation. She helped me to set some things right after my ex-husband and I hit some rough patches in our DIY divorce and custody arrangements. She approached each situation with a disciplined business strategy: what did I hope to achieve? She was able to set my expectations with what was likely to happen, negotiate bumps in the road that would have been catastrophic had I been handling the situation without her. She kept a clear head, keeping each new decision and scenario clean in explaining to me how the law would view it, and steering me away from complicating details that were irrelevant. (This is so key because in a divorce, you'll think it's relevant that your ex is a jerk. Natalie doesn't waste your time and money by letting you believe that will be relevant.). She was so respectful of my time and budget, and she was an absolute bulldog on the legal points where it helped us. Her legal briefings were full of references to legal precedent, compared with the opposing attorney's briefings reading like an episode of Jerry Springer. It was clear that the judge and mediators that we worked with respected her enormously, and it was easy to see why.

I first met Natalie after working with another attorney who had really botched my child custody case. I was scared and feeling desperate about my situation. Natalie immediately put my mind at ease and got right to work on my case. She worked tirelessly to get the best possible outcome and really took the time to explain the process to me and to familiarize herself with my case. She is extremely professional, confident, considerate, honest and knowledgeable. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Natalie on my side and I know that if I have need again in the future, I can depend on her for honest, professional advice at a very reasonable cost. I can't imagine how I would have gotten through such a rough time in my life if not for Natalie.

Natalie Alane is a superb attorney. She is a true advocate who was able to handle my very difficult custody case, thus changing and improving my son's life for the better. Natalie has set the gold standard for attorneys as far as I am concerned. She showed a great tenacity to sift through the cover-up and the pool of lies spewed by my adversarial spouse and to get to the facts and the truth. She promptly responded to all my questions and thoughts in a straight forward, honest, personal and professional way. Natalie prepared a remarkable evidentiary court case and I was amazed at her litigating prowess when questioning witnesses. She helped bring the truth to light. She never stopped; even during a break when speaking to one of our witnesses, she discovered that there was a new piece of damning evidence we could bring to the trial. Natalie was able to obtain a copy of it and she was printing it just seconds before the break ended. I was also impressed with Natalie's closing arguments. Her close was simultaneously on point and poignant to my circumstance. If Natalie Alane is on your side, you’re in great hands. If she’s against you, you have a formidable opponent.

I was involved in a high-conflict divorce include child custody issues. Natalie and her team were extremely thorough and attentive throughout the process. Our case ended up going to trial. They left no stone unturned. This was critical in the success of our case. In court, Natalie was strong, assertive, and aggressive without being overbearing or obnoxious. This was very impressive to me. I would recommend Natalie and team without reservation. I am thankful that I had her representation and support during quite possibly the most difficult time of my life. I will continue to utilize Natalie's representation in the future with any conflicts that arise with our custody case.

Natalie was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had been going through issues with my child's mother for years. Issues such as horrible school attendance, domestic abuse, her drinking issues, etc. I tried speaking to my son's mother directly but the issues got so bad that I was forced to look into getting the courts involved. As I was searching for lawyers, a very respectable person in the Lansing area recommended Natalie. From the moment I called her office I was instantly overwhelmed by the level of professionalism her staff exudes. When I came in for a consultation, the office and staff members were very warm, welcoming and friendly. Natalie listened to all of my issues and was ready to go to work for me that minute. I felt the confidence in her voice and I felt very comfortable with her during our one hour conversation. However, being a college student I was turned away by the amount of money I would have to pay for her counsel. After I left her office, I tried a few other lawyers in the area. NONE of them had the same level of professionalism, nor seemed to care much about the issues my son and I were going through. According to them, it wasn't enough to be granted full custody as there were "worse situations" that my son could be in and they were very discouraging. In my heart, I knew that my son deserved better than what he was getting and I needed to be represented by someone who thought the same. Because of Natalie and her staff, I was awarded full physical custody of my son and also was granted a change in domicile to leave the State of Michigan to take a job in Maryland. To those of you who might be worried about the money, just remember the old saying: "You get what you pay for!" Natalie may be more expensive than some other lawyers in the area, but she is WELL worth it!
