This lawyer is the real deal. My son was caught up in addiction and looking at multiple felony charges across two counties. He was facing serious time and ended up serving only a few months in the county. Bernie not only fought his case aggressively, but he also offered a voice of reason that made a lasting impact on my son's life.

Did a great job representing me and getting me long distance parenting time. I recently called to have him defend me again but his secretary said he is no longer practicing family law. Too bad he was good at it.

Mr. Jocuns was an amazing attorney for me. I got into a car accident while drinking so I was charged with operating while intoxicated causing injury and he was there at every court hearing did everything he could for me. The prosecutor was trying to give me a year in jail and mr. Jocuns got it down to 6 months in jail and 6 months on tether. Been out of jail for over four months now and I only have a little less than two months left on my tether and he has kept in contact with me to make sure I didn't need anything and that everything was going okay. If you're considering attorney he is excellent attorney you should definitely talk with him.

Bernie is beyond competent. If only all attorneys could be as good and competent as Bernie at practicing law, the legal community and lawyers in general would not have such a negative reputation. He truly cares about each and every individual he represents. My fear, whether well founded or not, has always been that I will simply be processed by the criminal justice system (as, as such, be processed by the attorney that I have hired). Any fears I may have about lawyers and the system are re-soundly blunted/lessened by Bernie representation. The criminal justice system is scary. So there will always be concern. There just is. The system is not fun. Regardless, Bernie truly cares about his client's well-being. He truly does, and that is something that should not be taken lightly, because most attorneys, rather than being concerned about their client's wants, interest and needs, are more concerned about themselves, their family and their own lives. Just not so with Bernie. He takes nothing for granted. He will press the prosecution at every turn and leave no stone unturned. He is at the forefront in knowing the latest and modern trail techniques. The law is very technical. Law school can teach only so much. Even years of experience can only go so far because if any attorney has bad experiences he/she may simply build off of the bad and never get any better at their trade. Bernie was trained by the best. There is no one better. You want Bernie at your side. You truly do.

Very good lawyer, I had a owi for medical marijuana in lapeer mi, he knows the medical marijuana laws very well, does his best to help you out and get you in the best situation , he is reasonably priced and ended up saving me a lot if money, went from owi to a careless driving, much better!
