I had the recent pleasure to again work with Jeffrey Saunders and his team on my parent’s estate plan. Jeffrey has been trusted by my parents since 1997 to manage their estate and provide ongoing, seamless attention to their needs and desires. With my father’s passing years ago, my mother needed an update to her will, trust, and POA’s for her estate. We worked through this with Jeffrey over the last few months and now once again have peace of mind that my mother’s estate is well positioned for the future. Jeffrey and his team were friendly, knowledgeable, always frank, and patient as we worked through the updates. Calls were returned, e-mails timely sent and returned, and in office visits safe (COVID19) and well prepared. In want to especially thank Cindy Wiggins, Jeffrey’s Paralegal and Client Service Specialist for all her hard work and attention to detail. My parents use Jeff Saunders to set up their estate planning documents years ago. I initially became familiar with his work when my father passed away almost 19 years ago, and then to an even greater extent when my mother passed 2 years ago. Jeff helped us with updates to the trust document, funding and administration of the trusts, and trust accounting, and also provided assistance to me as co-trustee and as my mother's personal representative. We had a number of very sticky family situations in settling my mother's estate, which Jeff helped me navigate, with excellent outcomes. The advice I received was invaluable and saved me much grief over the years. I was also able to compare to my experience the handling of my father-in-law and mother-in-law's estate and trusts by another law firm. The services provided by Jeff and his staff were head and shoulders above the other firm in terms of timely assistance, effective communications, genuine concern about our family's situation, accuracy of information provided, as well as cost. My father was a client of Jeffrey Saunders and had a trust set up to handle his estate matters. The trust was ideal as it saved a lot of time and extra efforts for me as his appointed trustee after his death. Jeffrey was very helpful in resolving some issues that arose while dealing with financial and real estate matters as he has many years of expert experience in his field. I have talked with many people who have lost a family member and have heard the troubles they have gone through to close out financial and other assets due to not having a trust established. This is the way to go if you are looking to set up a will for your loved ones. I was referred to Jeff Saunders by a friend who is a respected mortgage banker who highly recommended his services. My wife and I wanted to set up a living trust, a will, and were looking for investing advice as we approach retirement. We found Jeff to be incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and detail-oriented. He helped us navigate the complex issues around setting up a trust, naming beneficiaries and putting our assets inside the trust. Where he really shone, however, is that last fall he foresaw a correction in the market and advised us to move into more conservative assets given our age. We followed his advice and when the market corrected he saved us tens of thousands of dollars that would have potentially been lost. Jeff and his staff are really excellent and I can't recommend him enough.

We first met Mr. Saunders when he set up our family trust in 2001. We have updated it twice since then, the latest being in January 2020. He has always been professional and interested in our needs.
