he is a very nice man. he listens to what you want and tells you up front what he can do for you. he does not throw bones at you to get you to hire him.( meaning he does not give you false hopes for what you need). i had lawyers in the past tell me that they could do something just to find out it was not going to happen.when i had to move out of state he made arrangements so i could do court over the phone. i still contact him about the case he had handle for me in the past and he gets back to me in a timely manner. i would defiantly recommend him .

Mr. Rod Johnson is a consummate professional. I spoke at length with several attorneys before deciding to engage his services. During our first meeting I realized I had made the right choice. I was impressed with his skills and knowledge. My issue required someone with the ability to navigate the confusing legal system. Mr. Johnson handled my divorce. During my first conversation with him, he said "I can tell you exactly what it will cost", and he was true to his word. He was very reasonable, professional and always returned my calls. He made this as stress free as possible.

I initially contacted Rod Johnson a year prior to me retaining him as my divorce attorney. During my initial contact I was quoted a fee for his legal services. A year later I contacted him again and he honored the initial fee he quoted. I was extremely elated. When I met with him at his office in Livonia he was extremely thorough and wanted to ensure I was ready to embark on this journey. Rod Johnson explained the entire "Divorce Process" so that I could clearly understand what I, my children as well as my ex husband could expect. During the actual Divorce Proceedings before, during and after our appearance in court Mr. Johnson represented me well. In addition, he asked if I wanted him to inform my ex husband of some legalities regarding our divorce. I actually did not have a problem with that. This action speaks volumes about his character; although my ex husband had not retained is own attorney, Mr. Johnson wanted us both to completely understand. I would definitely recommend Rod Johnson as an attorney!

He has handle two cases for me. Each one of them turn out ok. He was concerned and showed the ablity to think outside the box. He is great on due dilagence and keeping in touch with clients by phone and mail.

Mr Johnson represented me in a divorce matter, he was not forceful enough, he gave no supportive insights or ideas, which are helpful in such a dire confusing situation. He did not give the impression that he was really fighting for the client. He was pretty good at the procedures & Knowledge - 4 STARS Practical application of knowledge to compromise the other side + (he was so laid back on attack) - 1 STAR Forcefulness + Responsiveness- 1 STAR Honesty - - 4 STARS Will I use him again ? Yes, for procedure non-combative work, otherwise, I will go out and find a bulldog of a lawyer. Nice Guy , friendly , but not made for the tough world of Divorce litigation.
