My husband and I have discussed putting a plan together since our first kid was born…. 6 years ago. Fast forward to a few months ago, we were at a “no kids” destination wedding and realized we left our kids with my husbands parents, but we had no legal plan in case something happened to us, and my in laws had no paperwork in case the kids needed medical care while we were gone. A friend of ours then referred us to Mark. He made the process fast, convenient and affordable for us. He also told us we could bring our kids with us to his office, which was super nice. In fact, he gave my boys brand new monster truck toys while we were there and didn’t make us feel bad about bringing our kids at all. If you’re a parent with little kids, do yourself a favor and call Mark. We feel so much better now that this is finally done and our family is protected. And just so no one thinks we are bad parents for waiting 6 years to do this, we actually did meet with 2 other attorneys at different firms over the years and prior to meeting Mark, but never followed through because we honestly left with more questions than answers. Mark was different and we actually understood exactly what we needed and why.

Working with Michael at Heiritage Law was such a relief for my husband and myself. Michael was great at responding to questions that we had. He was clear and precise with how we should go about thinking about what would best suit our needs. He was professional, respectful and kind knowing that some decisions in this process that we needed to make, could be difficult and emotional. Who wants to think about what happens with the kids if me and my spouse were to die? We didn't! But better that we make the decisions than leaving it up to the courts; not to mention the extra money that would be lost in the process. Michael-thank you for going through this process with us and making it as fluid and easy as you did! One piece of advice after talking with multiple options: If you're going to do Estate Planning, be sure it's with someone who specializes in it, just like Heiritage Law does.

Heiritage Law does not disappoint! Mark Strek went above and beyond to help get my Father's financial affairs in line. Mark provided services for Power of Attorney and established a Trust. He clearly detailed all tasks we needed to complete along with what he would be working on. Mark was able to get us through tough conversations with ease and professionalism, especially with such sensitive matters. What we thought was going to be an incredibly painful and lengthily experience ended up being a total of two face-to-face meetings that were quite pleasant and we never once felt rushed or as if we were a burden. The office is clean, quiet and his staff is very friendly. My Father and I highly recommend working with Heiritage Law!

Mark helped my family with our estate plan. We enjoyed working with Mark because he educated us on the topics rather than "telling us what to do". Also, he charges a flat fee for a basic estate plan which is great because then we didn't feel pressure to ask questions or feel like he was "on the clock" charging by the 15 minute interval! Highly recommend

Mike was wonderful with helping me with paperwork that I had to file for an account for conservatorship of a ward. He was very patient and looked at every avenue possible to figure out how to get the numbers to match up. I am very grateful to have found him and would definitely use him again if I need it in the future! Plus, they have Will the therapy dog who is absolutely adorable! Highly recommend!🙂
