I called Mr. Smith after I had been locked in a 6x9 cage 23 hours a day for almost a year. He came to visit me at jail and heard my story. He told me right away the charge should have been a 93-day misdemeanor, at best. What a sense of relief I felt at that moment. This man GOT me!
