This office took our money, we didn't hear from them for several months, spent the whole retainer, did not inform us and went shed and spent 10,000 more without talking to us, then became very hard to deal with when we asked questions, then lied and withdrew from the case, do NOT use this agency

I hired GGTM at the most devasting time in my life...an end to a long-term marriage with 2 minor children still at home. My initial contact with GGTM was with Sandra who genuinely cared about my situation and immediately connected me with Rachel. I was in good hands with Rachel and she immediately took charge. She protected my interests, fought for my children, and helped me out of my marriage as unscathed as possible. I credit Rachel and her staff for helping and guiding me through the divorce process. Rachel is very experienced family law attorney. I highly recommend her.

Find real representation! Rachel Terpstra was hired for what should have been an open and shut custody case, involving video evidence of neglect and abuse towards my son. She never entered the evidence into the court, failed to examine and question the CPS worker, and had back door conversations with the opposing counsel without my knowledge, until it was brought up in hearing only to have Rachel shake her head in denial (I have the transcripts and it WAS recorded. I should have fired her in the middle of the hearing and sought REAL representation. Now comes the collection attempts as she feels she didn’t breach contract by means of lack of representation. Her collection letters are full of condescending verbiage, ultimately resulting in condescending responses. A formal complaint with the Michigan state BAR to follow.

We were clear up front what our intentions were for an eviction matter and they changed how it was handled without reaching out to us, the ones paying the bill. Do not recommend this company.

I wish I could give zero stars for this person. She is the most unprofessional lawyer. She represents my ex husband, the father of my kids. She is a bully, extremely rude, and downright wrong with how she handles every situation. I’m not sure how she has a law degree.

Stay away from this firm. Surprise invoice 6 months later. $4500 to look at a will and trust just to tell us there wasn't anything we could do. $4500 for "research" what a joke.

I hired Gielow Groom Terpstra & McEvoy 8 years ago for my divorce and couldn't have been more pleased with the work Rachel Terpstra did on my case. Since then, I've hired business attorney Keith McEvoy and over the 8 years he's done an amazing job for all my business needs. I would reccommend this firm to anyone with no hesitation. Oh, and rates with this firm are very resonable which also helps my bottom line!

This review is for the paralegal Sandra Robbins. Unfortunately, she interjects herself into cases that are not even on this attorney's caseload. Extremely alarmed to see her, the mother of my child's EX BOYFRIEND, added to my family law case by herself. Extremely unprofessional and major conflict of interest here.
