Pros
1
Knowledgeable and provides great advice and insight on legal matters
“Brandon discussed a difficult legal situation regarding employment and helped me understand my options. Ultimately, we decided there was no legal recourse, but he was very knowledgeable regarding the law and gave great advice and insight.”
2
Responsive and reasonable in billing
“On every occasion, he was quick to respond, offering sound and competent advice. Brandon was quick to respond to my e-mails, and was very reasonable in his billing.”
3
Thorough and attentive during legal processes
“Katherine was very thorough during a process which can be quite overwhelming, especially during a pandemic. The office constantly followed up with me.”
4
Emotionally invested and committed to clients' best interests
“Abigail Richards' response time to an emergency motion was prompt, accurate and heartfelt. Her emotional investment in the case made us feel that Abigail was a member of our family.”
5
Effective in getting favorable outcomes for clients
“Mark Mandell is a great attorney, he helped me with some criminal charges and got them dropped down to lesser charges. He saved me and my family's lives.”
Cons
1
Unsuccessful in fighting for client's interests in certain cases
“Please go elsewhere the attorney that handle my divorce case did not fight for me at all I got the short end of the stick and the outcome was unbelievable.”
2
Lack of communication and updates with clients
“Very helpful with VA cases, only downside is they are not always great at keeping you updated, something they need to work on.”
3
Overpriced and poor quality of work
“Disappointing. Fausone Bohn was hired for a simple business contract. The attorney turned out mediocre work that needed several revisions, which of course they passed the cost on to me.”
4
Unresponsive and unprofessional customer service
“This one appears to be yet another VA OGC front organization created to demoralize and frustrate desperate veterans. The receptionist asked me the same questions over and over, then said no attorney would speak to me.”
5
Unwilling to take on certain cases or provide adequate assistance
“VA denied my claim - and I understand why. I have compelling evidence that would otherwise sway or overturn the decision IF it were in the possession of a savvy legal representative. Well I guess I will have to find that elsewhere - because the so called "Legal Help for Veterans" appears to be soliciting cases with larger payouts and they absolutely give the appearance of not wanting to concern themselves with the likes of a Veteran such as myself.”
