I came to Derrick looking for help with an extremely urgent and time sensitive matter. He took control of the situation, spent hours with my upon our first meeting to get everything in process and moving forward, even filing an emergency motion late at night to help me. He knew what to do, he was calm and straightforward but still treated my case with the urgency it needed and when he got everything resolved I was so relieved and so thankful and could not have asked for a better result. In my opinion—i put my family’s life in his hands and he did beyond the best possible job for us. I am so grateful to Derrick and his team!

Ninja Attorney If you want a pit bull in your corner, look no further this is your guy! Mr. George is a great lawyer. I came to Derrick regarding a serious misdemeanor I got. Derrick immediately meet with me to discuss my case and my options. After going over all the facts with him I could tell that he was the right attorney for my case because he showed a great deal of confidence, even though I was to be tried by one of the toughest Judges in Oakland County. He was able to get my misdemeanor reduced to a civil infraction. Without him, I would have owed the court more money and I would have a permanent record which would significantly effect my future. Hiring Mr. George was the best decision I made in dealing with my case.

I contacted Derrick after doing my own homework online and he seemed to be the best attorney in my area for what I was facing. I have to say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was shocked at first as Derrick picked up the first time I called and with no notice discussed my circumstances at length. While I was speaking to him he was texting me notes about the conversation I was having at that exact moment. He then came and picked me up from work as I was unable to drive and we began from there. Right out the gate I could tell this guy was on a different level. I was in the beginning stages of facing some serious charges and being truthful I was scared. From the moment I called and spoke with Derrick my mind was put at ease. I knew there was no way I was going to walk away from everything with a clean slate as I was facing 2-felonies and 3-misdemeanors, but I could sense that the man in front of me was going to help me in ways that other attorney's could not. Derrick was realistic with the expected outcomes, coached me on how to prepare and what to do, and fought every step of the way while working every possible angle to get me the best outcome. Derrick and his team where exceptionally professional throughout the entire process and detail oriented to the point of bordering on being OCD (that's good when your freedom's at stake). I truly had an incredible experience with his firm. In the end, I really only had one charge that stuck and there was no way of avoiding that particular one. With that being said, the judge looked me in the eye and informed me that it was not within her power to give me any more lenient of an outcome than what she was going to impose. I can honestly say that I received the BEST possible outcome, and also an outcome better than I was even hoping for. Derrick and his team were worth every penny and this firm absolutely made it so that I can continue on with my life as it was. I was scared initially, but elated in the end.
