They did absolutely nothing, then abruptly dropped us leaving us worse off than before

My experience with Greenstone Legal Group was excellent and heartwarming. They seemed to have suffered multiple attacks after I started reacting to Capital One's [not known for hiring the best people] harassment campaign. The conflict with Capital One was published on December 31st, 2023. Also on that day, it seemed like the entire past of the US Army had possessed my spirit to chant the best possible cadence my lungs could muster. It's funny how there was a Green Beret on the bus as I joked about calling Capital One and threatening them for abusing their late payment fees immediately after I signed my contract.

Please, if you read this-and many other- review stating that Greenstone is terrible and not to get involved, BELIEVE THEM!!! Greenstone Legal Group is nothing but a scam, 100%. Yo make a long story short, we entered into an agreement with them to help negotiate some debt settlement and after 15 months of paying into the program…..nothing. We received several offers to settle or debt from the creditors which we promptly turned over to Greenstone only to have them do nothing. Then we received a summons from court after discovering that one of the creditors was suing us. We turned that promptly over to them also. Their whole spiel is that they are there to protect you from collection efforts while trying to negotiate settlements. Well they failed. Just recently we received a letter from the court stating that the creditor had won their case against us for “failure to contact the court or respond to the summons”. So basically, Greenstone did nothing! They keep about half the money that you send as “payment for services rendered” however, it is plain to see that they don’t actually render anything but lies. We have since canceled our agreement with them. We did get some money back but only about half of what we put in. And we negotiated directly with the creditors and had deals to pay half the original debt in one day. Wonder why Greenstone couldn’t have done that. I implore you to stay far far away from this group. They will tell you nothing but lies and rob you of your money.

Don't use these people!! They are con artists with nothing but lies. Didn't do one thing they said they would do. They will ruin your credit.

Stay away from this company! They will hurt your credit rating and further your debt problems as you will be paying them as well as the credit card companies. My husband had a credit card company start garnishing his checks while paying this scam of a company. He tried calling multiple times with no answer. He finally spoke to them after being on hold for over an hour. He then terminated his program with this god forsaken debit consolidation company and will unfortunately be filing for bankruptcy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY called Greenstone legal!

I trusted them. How come before I signed up in Oct 23 I didn't find any negative reviews? Are they new? I was faithfully paying them monthly $275 to negotiate 3 credit cards with low balances at the time. Then in April and in May I got the only update that I should get a lawyer because they are being sued for taking fees in advance and will not be able to help me. No hope about money I paid them. Free legal aid told me nothing I can do, file a small claims case. PLEASE run away from them if they try to solicited your business.

This company is a scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will take more than have your holdings for doing nothing. They will tell you not to pay the creditors and get you father into debt. The lawyers that they use are a joke neither party lawyers will stay in touch with you it is hard to get a hold to their lawyers and the greenstone company. I stayed 5 hours on the phone and multiple other times 2 hours at a time and still didn’t get anyone on the phone. By the time you done email them nobody contact you back you already getting served with a judgment. From this experience it was horrible they will make the problem worse never use this company use a real lawyer of your own don’t use greenstone. This was a hard lesson for me

Crooks!! No wonder they are being sued. 9 months of paying them and all I have to show for it is more debt, and a ruined credit score.

I can't leave zero stars so one star it is. Whatever you do, DO NOT ENLIST THE SERVICE OF GREENSTONE. You're better off dealing with your creditors directly. I have been paying in for a year and then their lawsuit began in which they can not currently negotiate on behalf of their client (us, you). In the meantime, I had a lawsuit filed because they DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. I called in after waiting on hold for two hours (after trying a couple of days in a row waiting for an hour or more; I have to work so I had to hang up) and I was told they couldn't do anything until I was served? SERIOUSLY!? You obviously haven't been dealing with this the entire time. I ended up finding an arbitrator who was able to help me, but that's costing me another $1,000 to get that handled. Then I requested the cancellation of services and a refund. I received a notice and I'm getting back a FRACTION of what I paid in after applying "fees"...FOR WHAT!? I have no idea. I have requested a full accounting of where the money went so we'll see if I get that, I'm not hopeful. If you take anything from this, DO NOT USE THEM. This is a scam.

This group got 1 star because I couldn’t give them a negative rating!! I HAD BEEN working with them for nearly 2 full years and during that time frame I had paid monthly 571.00 and during that period they only managed to negotiate and payoff 1 creditor in full they did enter payment plans for 2 others those payments together are about 269 where’s the other 300 going? I received summons for 2 other accounts I submitted the documents to the client portal waited the necessary time before calling them back and I got they couldn’t find the documents so I emailed them to the email address given only to find out while the email address was valid it was the wrong email, ultimately I had a judgment entered against me and soon to be a second when I finally reached the litigation department I got EXCUSES that they were behind and doing the best they could. As a result of this lack of communication and representation I have had to begin the process of filing for bankruptcy. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS ( in my opinion)

I found out the last 3 month i have pay these people and they did nothing for me and now im trying to Cancel the program . They ignore my call and put me on hours phone hold And did not respond to my email. Just contact your bank and Cancel the payment. Please do not deal with these people.
