There are no winners in family law. But what Chris Picard can offer you is an ally that will make sure that your case is well prepared and you have the best chance of achieving your goals. Choose Chris if you're looking for a bulldog of an attorney who will put your kids first and utilize his experience in law to advise you and give you a fighting chance. I had a very successful outcome with my case.

Chris has represented me on more than one occasion when dealing with custody issues. He has always been honest and upfront with me telling me what I could expect and not always what I wanted to hear. I would highly recommend Mr Picard’s services.

I was thankful that he took my case and felt very secure having him represent my side of a divorce, with some exceptions - stated later within this review. None of which is meant to be spiteful, just stating my opinion. I was going through more than just the divorce at the time I retained Mr. McLeod and I felt he was sincere, in his concern towards me, about that. One of the reasons I felt good having him. I felt he was empathetic towards the issues (turned out to be life threatening health issues,) He is very expensive , however, and I had no money. HE IS A GOOD LAWYER...but, I felt very hurt at how much money he took from my settlement. He made out with more than I did and seemed very content with that. My calls of fear, sadness and 'need to know what was going on" (my husbands lawyer was always slacking , causing us to have to force responses hence my fear filled phone calls- costing me more as well, I'm sure ) - was to blame. However, If my health would have been better at that time, knowing who I am, I would not have trusted as much (especially because of who my husbands lawyer was) and read more of the fine print within the decree and questioned a few things that I did sign, before I signed them. I even resigned a signature page the day after I signed the final papers, because of a "typo" and was never shown what it was. I was too sick and never asked to see it but, I don't think I should have had to ask. It should have been shown to me. Hind sight is 20/20. Some good did come out of it so, I have to stay looking on the bright side. I am disabled and unable to work and that money was very important to me. I would still recommend him, just make sure you are healthy, wealthy and wise.

Mr. Pickard has represented my on a two occasions. When my fiance’s ex wife tried to take custody from him, Pickard suggested we not fight her in court and to go along with what the FOC suggested after a referee hearing. We later found out that he was going on vacation and did not want to have to cancel to try our case in front of the judge. Additionally, he has a “friendship” with the person at FOC that wrote the recommendation for the custody situation and he did not want to challenge her recommendation. Pickard charged us a $2500 retainer fee for representing us in a custody battle (we lost) and a child support evaluation (we lost)... after both were completed, he decided to tack another $555 onto our bill! Pickard is a snake, and not in a good way, he will not fight for you while taking you for every hard earned penny you make. Look elsewhere if you want someone that will fight for you.
