Public defender. Filed adjournment papers 8 weeks late. No one answers the phone. No response to request for call back.

She's the best attorney I've ever had. My opinion is she's one of the best in the thumb. Finally an attorney who has great communication and gets things done!!

Over a year, hardly any response, absolutely did not do the actual job of defense attorney. Would not recommend

Jessica was appointed to represent my son in a criminal case. Jessica never treated my son or I any different than if she had been retained. She responded to all of my emails quickly and answered all of my questions. When the case was dismissed but the Order was not entered she repeatedly followed up with the Prosecutor's office to get it entered. I would highly recommend her.

I'm very fortunate to have found Jill Schmidt to help handle my father's estate. She was able to quickly and effective sort through my father's paperwork and property while being understanding and sensitive to the situation of my father's untimely passing. Would highly recommend her for any legal needs.

From the initial meeting until the verdict from the court, I cannot say enough about Ms Riskeys dedication to my case. She spent time listening to my concerns and explained the process until I understood everything that was going on. Despite going up against a lawyer that had been in practice longer than she had, she stood her ground and it resulted in us winning the case. Hopefully, I won't need to use Ms Riskeys services again in future, but best believe I have her number saved, and give it to anyone looking for services in Huron or Tuscola county. I would give no stars if I could. She was supposed to represent my son. This lady spoke to me so disrespectfully the very first phone call. I finally asked after 15 minutes if she was seriously speaking to me like that and then I just hung up. I hired someone else with manners that spoke to my son and I respectfully. I checked out her reviews then went to her "website" which was Facebook. Only picture was duck lips and 1 bad review, no good reviews. Very unprofessional. Our lawyer now is worth every penny... I will never hire her ever or recommend her. If she is your court appointed attorney, get someone else. Do not get anyone from Tuscola county, get outside of there where lawyer's are actually doing their job, not trying to make quick deals with their buddies and will represent you to the best of their ability. Just because you need a lawyer doesn't mean you should be disrespected!
