Let me start by acknowledging that ANY time one finds his or her self in a situation where legal representation is needed, calling it "stressful" is a gross understatement. It is absolutely terrifying. I began my journey working in a professional field with a promising outlook when illness required me to take a step down. As a single mother to a 5yr old with no other income, I was horrified to discover that after 14 years I was going to have my Disability Benefits revoked. The questions and fears at that particular moment made me physically ill. Fear for myself, fear for the well-being of my child; these were overwhelming to say the least.
