I recently contacted ADAM regarding modification of alimony five years into my divorce decree. I was surprised -- and most gratified -- to actually speak with an attorney -- Mr. Jon Midtgard -- on my first inquiry. Mr. Midtgard patiently listened to my situation, and while we were speaking, had already accessed my court records, in order to ask pertinent questions regarding the circumstances of my divorce decree. He agreed to do a little research and contact me with some recommendations for proceeding. I was again surprised -- and very impressed -- that he called me back the same day (not several days later), to relay information about relevant case law that would impact my chances of success in pursuing my efforts to modify my alimony. His professionalism, genuine regard for me as a person, and his high level of integrity, were very encouraging. More importantly, his direct and straightforward candor throughout our brief discussions helped make his frank presentation of the realities of my case much more understandable. And even though I was not yet his client, he offered solid suggestions for next steps I could take. I have contacted other attorneys about this matter, and by far, ADAM is, without question, my first choice for future legal services.
