I had a challenging custody case where I took a job out of state and was fighting for the court to approve my son moving with me full time, only having visitation in MI with his mother during school breaks and vacations. I had spoken to several other lawyers before Eric, and none of them seemed to have confidence in my case. After speaking with Eric, he made me feel comfortable with my chances. Ultimately, after several months of court issues, we won the case and my son moved with me. The price was considerably more than I was prepared for, but, had I gone with the lower cost/less confident options and lost I would always regret not choosing to hire the best. He communicates well, is direct, and knows his stuff... All things I would want/expect from a Lawyer. I also think he is a nice/friendly person who takes an interest in his clients, but when considering a lawyer that is fairly low on my priority list as I want a lawyer that will win so that aspect is just a "bonus" in my eyes. All that being said, my son is with me, he is very happy and has straight A's in his new school. Hopefully, I never NEED to talk to Eric again, but if something ever happened and I need a family law lawyer again, I wouldn't hesitate to call him.

After getting me everything I wanted out of the divorce Eric has still to this day ( 2 years later ) assisted me with problems that have come up with the ex-wife. Excellent advice and council.

I was married 25 years; With that said, I couldn't have known a good lawyer from a bad lawyer. Pazner was an awesome replacement from a terrible lawyer. My case was dragged nearly an entire year because of the previous attorney's weakness. When I understood what was happening I hired Pazner as substitute counsel. Eric was very helpful representing me with a motion to review parenting time and custody. He always responded promptly and provided great counsel through the whole process. I hired Eric in 2018 to help me increase my parenting time and establish a solid parenting schedule with my two sons after years of difficulty with their mother changing things on a consistent basis usually at the last minute. Mr. Pazner helped me get everything that I was seeking and a bit more. We now have an established schedule of visitation and parenting time as well as properly established boundaries and guidelines on multiple fronts for their mother and I to move forward with. I hired Eric back in 2015 help establish a parenting schedule for my son and again in 2017 when we had a disagreement of where my son should attend school. He was very knowledgeable and informative of the process and what to expect. Eric and his team did a great job communicating with me making sure I was doing what I wanted to do and didn’t push for me make decisions I didn’t fell comfortable with. His willingness to take a case in another county makes it nice to have the guidance when needed here without dealing with lawyers in Bay City where my son lives.

Mr. Pazner got me everything that I wanted and more. I was nervous to go to court with my ex over legal custody and parenting time because for years she had had complete control over my son and my interactions with him. I wanted a great attorney, and didn't know who I could trust to actively represent me and my interests, not just do the bare minimum and end up conceding a lot to the other party. I met with Eric for an initial consultation and was very impressed with the way he carried himself, very confident and understanding. He listened to all my concerns and gave me a scenario that he thought would happen and what I deserved. It all sounded good...until we discussed fees. I was dismayed to hear his fees were higher than I had anticipated and so I tried to find another attorney. I interviewed several others, some that were cheaper and some that were around the same, but none of them felt as sure a bet as it did with Eric. So, despite the fees, which I looked at as "It's just money...I can get more money but I have this one chance here to get it right for my son," I moved forward with Eric. And I am so grateful that I did. Everything was handled professionally and promptly and I always felt that Eric was in complete control of the situation. I worried of course that it still may not go as smoothly once we got to court but it did. Eric negotiated quickly and got me everything that I wanted, and a little more. It was a great experience. So, if you are like me and thinking, maybe I can get a cheaper lawyer, don't. When it comes to looking out for your own rights you want someone who is going to protect your best interests. Eric is the best.

This law firm demonstrates professionalism and knowledge/experience to a infinite height. I've never had to seek counsel before so I was very apprehensive at first but the staff at this law firm reassured me that everything was going to be okay. They broke down the process step by step which made the experience relaxing and it enabled me to ask questions as we moved forward thus eliminating any overwhelming feelings. They were very prompt in answering my questions, responding back to phone calls/emails and one of their staff members even went above and beyond my expectations when I emailed that individual on a weekend day and received a response back that same day. Responding back to a client on a weekend day demonstrated that they truly care about you and your situation. My story. I was suprised when I came home from a trip. My wife of 29 years was gone with the things she wanted. On New Years Day I called 2 attorneys. Eric called the next day, which was the day the holiday was observed. Talking to him, he explained he always is working. We scheduled an appointment within 2 days. He filed the paperwork to the county in 24 hours of our meeting. This gave us control of the process. Eric had explained that he specializes in divorce. It was a fact. He was always ahead of the process. For example: at our first mediation her attorney had brought 4 pages, 2 introduction and 2 pages of spreadsheet. Eric had 10 pages which explained the events entirely along with backup. The final outcome was fair to her and I, as far as I was concerned and something I could live with. Our team also included Sandy and Nicole. Sandy and Nicole are caring, informative and professional. I recommend Eric highly. Eric Pazner and Eric's team is bar none with out exaggerating the best decision I've ever made!!! Point blank period!!! He's a man of his word and his team is top notch! In my eyes there's nothing Eric and team can't get done. I wouldn't hire anybody other then Eric's law firm! If you are a true father then you better not look to anybody else!!! If you do good luck! I know first hand I now have my rights and my kids half of the year if I would of went anywhere else I'm sure I wouldn't be saying this I would of just been paying into some lost cause. God can't even help you like he can Eric is very aggressive and won't just settle not for one second!!! If you think you only have a inch he will get you the mile and cross every bridge on the way!!!
